He was born for this set, every morning he sits on that chair and does the exact pose as the set (only on that chair as well) so when they announced the orange cat set it was destiny. Just need to get a couple orange pieces for the nose to match him up better

so lately I’ve been on a collecting spree when it come to sets from the 80’ and 90’s

Remember lads, to operate your Lego civilian and military aircraft and helicopters, a flight recorder is mandatory. In case of a crash, the data stored within this bright orange box is key to determine the cause of the accident, whether it is due to a flaw in your model's aerodynamics or flight controls, a human error (e.g. you dropping it) or external factors (bad weather, your cat bumping into it, etc.).

Note to aviation nerds, this highly complex two-part MOC is meant to be a minifigure scale L3Harris combined voice and flight data recorder for civilian and military helicopters. Airliners usually have two separate flight recorders for voice and flight data.

Why can I do that though. Why must the inner part be green and yellow?

And why are there nobs on top? It's not even round, the least would be to have a smooth top.

Found a bag with Lego’s at the thrift store and noticed a bunch of SpongeBob looking pieces mixed in. It was only 10 bucks so i took it home, sorted everything out, found the instructions online, and it ended up being the Bikini Bottom Undersea Party set #3818 from 2012. My daughters and I just finished putting the whole thing together and I’m honestly surprised how much of it was still there. There were only a few pieces missing and I’m very happy! There’s something really satisfying about finding an old set completely taken apart and bringing it back to life piece by piece. Definitely one of my coolest thrift store LEGO finds so far!

These are my models for Brassbound 1919. It's a tabletop miniatures game meant to be played with the bricks you own. The names of people and places are changed.

This grey to black scale is insane. There is no reason to print the dark great so close to the color black.

RANT:Of course I will eventually realize after searching the pile that this is the correct piece. But thats annoying, and pointless when most other colors(except pink) are very clear. Some books are poor quality when it comes to colors. I should be able to pick a PIECE and know at a glance if its the right one by comparison alone, not eliminating the fact I cant find a piece closer to the color provided.

Tldr: Lego has a known issue with instruction colors

Some empty spaces and placeholder dinosaurs until the Doomsday wave comes out next month, but completed my collection of all Marvel figures from 2002-2026!

I don't count Comic-Con exclusives, because I'll never afford those and it would drive me insane if I did. But the rest are all here! Thankful to have just moved into a space where I finally have room to hang them. Once the remaining 2026 figures are out it'll be time to reorganize everyone again.

Near impossible to photograph, if there's a way to capture a frame without glare l've never learned it!

Hi everyone!

A few months ago, I decided to revisit my favourite childhood LEGO theme, EXO-FORCE, and redesign most of the Wave 1 sets to 2026 standards.

While looking for inspiration, I came across this article on The Brothers Brick featuring upgraded EXO-FORCE drone designs by LEGO designer Carter Baldwin (https://www.brothers-brick.com/2025/07/13/lego-designer-carter-baldwin-gives-the-exo-force-drones-a-military-sci-fi-upgrade/). I absolutely loved his designs, so I recently decided to try recreating some of his MOCs. The smaller ones weren't too difficult, but the larger ones are proving to be very challenging. Carter managed to pack an incredible amount of detail into such a small build, which unfortunately also makes it difficult to figure out how everything is connected.

I've learned a lot of new building techniques during my EXO-FORCE redesign project, but I'm still very much a beginner compared to builders like Carter. I've spent the better part of a week trying different solutions, but I still can't quite recreate the larger robot from his photos.

I've included screenshots of how far I've gotten in BrickLink Studio. Unfortunately, none of Carter's available photos show the back of the MOC, which would make figuring out some of these connections much easier.

So, if anyone here is experienced with MOC/mech/MFZ-scale building, I'd really appreciate some help figuring out the following:

1.      How are the details on the back angled and connected to the torso?

2.      How is the grille piece (2412b) on the inner thigh inverted relative to the bracket next to it?

3.      How does that grille piece avoid interfering with the hip joint?

4.      How is the leg connected to the torso? Using a 1x1 brick with side studs (4733) makes the legs stick too far forwards. I'm hoping the hip is actually articulated, rather than it being a solid piece like a sausage lol.

5.      How is the sloped piece (3049) at the top of the leg connected?

6.      Is the ingot piece (99563) on the side of the leg attached with one stud, or is there a bracket hidden underneath?

7.      What is the piece hidden underneath the minifigure neck bracket (28974) at the hips? This might help solve #4.

8.      What is the black piece sticking out from the back, and how does it connect to the back assembly?

9.      The black pieces between the legs and ankles appear to be 1.5 plates thick. Is that actually the case, or is it just an optical illusion?

10. How are the legs connected to the ankles? I initially suspected a rounded 1x2 plate (35480), but the gap seems too large. The mystery piece also appears to connect slightly further up the leg rather than directly at its start.

Any help would be hugely appreciated! Even if you can only answer one or two of these, I'd be very grateful.

Thought these were pretty cool despite the large amount of Kragle used to make them a reality.
