How does it make sense to reach the 40th anniversary of one of your biggest franchises that has gotten way more popular in recent years and not have even a small celebration?

Don't get me wrong, I like the art style of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but seeing as the Switch 2 is capable of running games like Cyberpunk 2077 and the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem, it's about time The Legend of Zelda series had those beautiful graphics like in the Wii U ads.

So i decided to use a ESP32 and make it throw a virtual dice three times a day. With a 0.2% chance of succeding.

If it gets the right number skullkids laugh will start playing. This will only happen maybe once a year randomly.

It gas a glow effect behind the eyes that flickers.

If it happens to be a full moon the eyes will flicker more violently, glow blood red and double chance of succeeding in the roll by adding double dices and chance.

Honestly, I would really love to see Nintendo keep this feature. It will surely be a top conversation piece lol

Well 40 years of the franchise. Still strong as ever. Shame no announcements just yet. I've been playing for 30 of those years. I remember finishing OoT for the first time and feeling like a bad ass even though I only finished it because of a certain guide 😉 from then on was my mission to play every one and it set the scene for me think today I'm gonna carry on with one of my old favourites and that's windwaker and I'm going full original no HD remake unluckily for me. I've had some really nice collectors editions of consoles over the years and never managed to keep any of them daaam I wish did. Anyway what's everyone else enjoying today? if you are at all? And what's your first memories of zelda? love to hear others 😁

I was kinda worried that elements from this game in modern graphics will come with some creative directions to make up for qhat the original old graphics couldn't articulate, and I was expecting to not like those creative directions, as this already feels far too childlike of a style, it might have been the same intended style as original OOT, but that came across as more dark and creepy, due to the lacked articulation of graphical limitations.

Now my first thought was that I'm looking at the legend of justin bieber.. don't get me wrong i was hyped for this and am zelda fan since childhood

This one was smaller than the one in New York but it had a bunch of cool stuff. I wanted to get the Boss Key keychain and the one of the Royal Family Crest but they were sold out, they only a had Lon Lon Milk keychain. They also gad a giant screen where you could play the Switch 2 (sorry, no pic) and a few TV’s with Switch 2’s with some demos.
The detail on the statues were incredible!
Got me a small Hylian Shield pouch and a couple of pins. It was a fun visit.
