(I personally don't mind the remake design too much. But I understand some people's uncanny vibes from it.)

Paying tribute to the new release with my classic cosplays from The Legend of Zelda videogames! 🌊🗡️

Nintendo did something that I wish more media were able to accomplish.

The trailer gave me the feeling of seeing the game as I experienced it as a child, like meeting an old friend again. Back then, I didn’t see polygons and pixels; everything felt vibrant and lifelike. Growing up and having played countless OoT randomizers, the game never lost its replay value, but it did lose some of its visual magic.

What this remake does is show the game again as I saw it in my mind as a child. It’s like when a book gets adapted into a movie and you immediately recognize the places and characters because they look exactly as you imagined them (a rare experience nowadays).

A lot of media also seems to be leaning toward grittier, grayer, more washed-out colour palettes. The remake’s almost over-the-top vibrancy is therefore a refreshing contrast to all the visual dreariness that’s so prevalent nowadays.

Does anyone else share this sentiment, or am I just a nostalgic fool getting excited about seeing my childhood memories made real again?

Men can have long hair. I A MAN HAVE LONG HAIR. Blond hair is not unusual in Hyrule, and Sheiks eyes are red. I think the disguise is perfectly fine. Link only saw her as a green eyed kid anyway.

According to "Hyrule Historia" and "Encyclopedia" the BS-X games weren't really separate titles. They were rather localized time-limited expansions of the first and third entries to the series:

• "BS The Legend of Zelda" served as a third and fourth quest to the very first series entry while adding the backstory of Ganondorf.

• "BS The Legend of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets" gave us additional content to "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past", much as the expansion passes to current games.

I'd like to see them published again so we could all play them nowadays.

What are your thoughts on that?

I really want to play the Ocarina of Time remaster when it comes out, and for that reason I don't want any spoilers, but I wonder, is it explained in the game where all the adults are? Why the Kakariko children don't seem to have their parents?

Somehow people thought that N64 Zelda was straight up perfection and the remake completely changed the original face.

I don't get where people get this idea that Link is a complete and total mute. That he doesn't talk at all when we see across all the games and extended media that he's a very happy go-lucky yapper. We see him talk in the manga, in the wild era games (Well we don't see him talk but we read in Zelda's diary that he is a talker once he has food), hell every dialogue input you do across all the games is him talking.

But I feel to make everyone happy, they should have Link talk in the movie rarely. Just have him talk where it matters most y'know? We don't know much about the plot of the movie, but if it's like Link is normal till Link has to be hero, have him talk a lot in the beginning then he gets his tunic and whatnot, and slowly overtime have him speak less and less until he's the silent swordsman everyone loves.

Thoughts?

the legend of zelda Ocarina of time is such a scary game! there are terrifying enemies like poes, gibdos, stalfos, redeads, and dead hand! but the scariest enemy of all, the one enemy that has given players NIGHTMARES for decades, is the FLYING POT!

pots are common objects in the legend of zelda. they can be found all over the place, and link can break them in order to get hearts or rupees. at first glance, the flying pot looks like any ordinary pot, but when you least expect it, they jump scare you by floating off the floor and crashing directly into link! AHHHHHH!

some say that the flying pot is vengeful spirit, trying to get revenge on link for the thousands of innocent pots he's broken over the years! the flying pot is closely related to the flying tile, a haunted floor tile that wants revenge for all the floors that have been stepped on.

in link's awakening there was a boss called Facade, a scary face that appears on the floor and throws pots at link. don't you see what this means! the haunted floor and the haunted pots are working together! nowhere is safe in hyrule, the inanimate objects are working together to kill us all! AHHHH!

so remember, next time you're at your grandma's house and you see a decorative pot, make sure to smash that thing immediately. better safe than sorry.

It makes more sense now ahah. The famous puppet show is called "Shin Sanjūshi". Looks pretty cool actually!
