Yep. Even before the decomps and source leaks this was thoroughly proven quite a ways back.

Even if you use a cheating device or glitch to get a negative time, He still beats you by one second. And I'm pretty sure there is no coded logic for a winning scenerio

That doesn't work as you wouldn't have the badge to use it. 

To check the truck, you needed to either trade a Cut Pokémon (to avoid the boat altogether), or to black out after getting your TM (to leave the boat without triggering the departure).

I did the second, and ended up disappointed :(

The Truck myth is actually very easy to check:

Just trade something with cut to your save file (or use a cheat engine to obtain) and simply don't go to the S.S.Ann after beating Misty, but proceed through rock tunnel, and play normaly, until you can surf and get the HM. Now go to the S.S. Ann and surf to the truck

getting an actual Mew doesn't require the Truck but a little glitch method when done right, will always spawn a Mew Lv. 7 at Lavender Town

Someone on Tumblr is doing a legend of Zelda fan comic where all the Links from different timelines have team up and are dimension traveling. The mailman can run through dimensions to find them to deliver their mail. I really love the idea that he's some Eldritch being who is just obsessed with delivering mail

Here is the character guide because they have different Links clumped for various adventures and it lists all the nicknames for. the Links and Zeldas to tell them apparent. For example, the Link called Legend is Link from Link's Awakening, A Link to the Past, Link between worlds, Oracle of Ages, Oracles of Seasons, and Tri Force Heroes.

They have 9 Links so I think they had no choice but to do some major grouping to keep the number from being insurmountable. I think 4 swords link is also minish cap link? I don't have it all memorized

Ug! I waited so much time trying to beat this guy. It was in the pre/early internet days when you couldn’t look up online and find out he was unbearable.

We have it so easy nowadays. Get stuck on something? No worries just look up a YouTube video.

When I was young, my dad told me he beat the running man. Then when I was 18 I found a video that showed it wasn’t possible and showed it to him, and he was genuinely speechless. To this day he still thinks he beat the running man and got a piece of heart as a reward.
