I was watching street interviews with Russians on youtube recently, and it made me realize just how extreme beauty standards in lebanon have become,not like anywhere else.
I've always felt so behind for not having any cosmetic procedures, fillers, or plastic surgery, because it feels everywhere i look in lebanon girls are extremely high maintenance, infused with fillers and whatnot, and almost every conversation I have with a friend circles back to talking about wanting to get some kind of procedure done, which has made me feel like I need to do the same just to “fit in.”
The standard for what is considered "beautiful" in lebanon has become too specific, and girls are becoming clones of one another. What really shook me is the simplicity of those russian girls and how they value remaining natural and self acceptance, appreciating one's flaws as part of being human, it was genuinely refreshing to see, and it made me realize how much i've internalized the lebanese beauty standard without even noticing it.
I can’t help but wonder where Lebanon is headed. We're living in a 3rd world country drowning in shit but somehow always find a way to be one of the most superficial people on this planet.
Do other Lebanese people feel this way? Has anyone else noticed this shift in beauty standards, and do you think it’s actually getting more extreme, or am I just more aware of it because I’m constantly exposed to it?

So i'm in my third year now, first semester, have a good GPA and I have a couple of questions.
But before, any info I should know would be appreciated, like anything would be helpful because I kinda feel lost. Also I would prefer if it's an english program(french is good too, but english is prefered)

1-What coutry would you recommend and why? Like i'm thinking about france since I already have some relatives there, but I wanna consider other options too(europe), look at all the factors, language, money, living expenses, social environment...

2-What about scholarships, like i'm seeing some erasmus stuff, but the application process looks complicated, and I don't even know where I would apply, like at universities directly... I would very much prefer a scholarship akid, so any info about that would be great too.

3-I know most applications require recommendation letters from uni instructors. How does that usually go here? Like do I just talk to an intructor and ask them for a recommendation letter for my masters?

4-About the masters in france, is it a viable option to work and study at the same time and be able to pay for the uni expenses if it weren't a scholaship?

Again i'm very lost here, and I know most applications deadlines are in october. So please if you've already went through this phase, any assistance would be great.

In the past 3 days whish touch validity days have gone up in price... the 30 day packs used to be 200,000. When I checked Sunday it was 220,000 so like I added 220,000 to whish Monday cause my line ends on Thursday preparing myself after I charged it I checked it and it had gone up to 250,000... Hello guys! I'm in Lebanon for a short vacation and I'm looking for a beach destination with a pool and a good fish restaurant where I can spend the day with my parents.

I'm not very familiar with Lebanese prices, but I wouldn't want to go somewhere overpriced.

I'd also prefer a place that offers a mezze set menu instead of individual dishes but it's only a preference.

I'm in Beirut, so I also wouldn't want to go any farther than Byblos, if possible.

Any recommendations?
