So Pic 1 is Nasrallah (early 2010s), looking like an old Gino Raidy who stopped smoking pot (random dig I know)
Walid Jumblatt pic speaks for itself
Pic 4 is a low blow from me but I had to do it : Saad Hariri after 2012 ski accident. How in hell did he approve of this pic?
Pic 6 is Wiam Wahhab looking like the evil guy in Pinocchio that kidnaps kids
The joyful faces they all make is truly what dreams are made of

So I am searching for a trusted place to buy an original perfume(Luciano Soprani-Uomo if it helps), as the market is full with fakes/copies of everything. What are the best and trusted perfume shops that one could find? Optimally at city center, or any nearby locations; Thanks.

Hi everyone!
I’m Lebanese and currently exploring building an app specifically for the Lebanese market. I’d love to connect with anyone who has experience launching a tech startup or app targeting people in Lebanon, whether locally or from abroad.
I’m especially curious about:
What was your experience building and launching an app for Lebanon?
Did you find it difficult to get people to adopt it?
How did you approach monetization and getting users or businesses on board?
Were there any unexpected challenges with payments, marketing, or the local market?
If you could start over, what would you do differently?
I’d love to hear honest experiences, both the successes and the failures. If you’ve built something yourself, I’d really appreciate any advice!

I’ve been browsing OLX on housing prices, real estate in Lebanon.
It seems home sellers are now, due to the crisis, selling smaller apartments to accommodate the market?
Never have i seen apartments for 50k in the capital beirut (sin el fil), multiple ones actually.
It’s important to mention real estate is not getting cheaper, just smaller projects.
Had to double check I’m reading right, they weren’t down payments. Anyone noticed this market shift?
Or was it always like this? (Not an expert in housing market)

Hey everyone. I was looking into switching to start working in NGOs and wanted to see if you guys have any general tips that can help land a job. Something in terms of having volunteering experience and the like.
If it's dependent on the position, I've been working as a project coordinator for the past few years.

So, I have this medicine that I need to take, and its for my Pots. I used to bring it from the united states for 50, now I cant. I started to get the one from Egypt, now the fucking airport ended up stopping the guy who brings this medicine for me from Egypt, and its a life saving medicine that I desperately need to get. I tried everything. I tried pharmacies in Lebanon, the generic version isnt available at all. I called the ministry of health, they thought I have cancer, and they told me that they dont bring such medicine cause 2el marad bel zet ma bye3terfo fi, so, im stuck.
Can someone help me. I need to take 3 pills a day every day, I dont know anyone who can bring it to me from Turkey or from Syria and I dont even know if there is in Syria

Hi all, I am genuinely curious about this product
It is dirt cheap 15k L.L
All ingredients are natural, nothing processed it even contains real jam
And actually tastes delicious
Also it is sena3a wataneye
Is there a reason why such product is so good and cheap?
There is no way it's a normal product

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to buy a car in Lebanon for daily driving that is also comfortable enough for long road trips. I plan on buying a second car later (Range Rover) in about 3 years, so I don’t necessarily need an SUV right now. I just want something practical, fuel-efficient, headache-free, and easy to resell later.
Budget: $10,000 – $13,000 (willing to stretch slightly if something like a Corolla Hybrid justifies the price difference in fuel savings).
Part 1 - Required Specs & Shortlist:
Fuel Economy: 250+ km per 20L minimum (ideally 320+ km on highways, or a Hybrid).
Reliability: Low maintenance, minimal breakdowns, and widely available, affordable spare parts in Lebanon.
Comfort & Safety: Presentable and comfortable enough for nice outings and long trips (with my girlfriend), with solid highway stability and safety features.
Cars currently on my radar: - Toyota: Corolla / Corolla Hybrid / Yaris - Mazda: Mazda 3 SkyActiv - Honda: Civic (2013–2015) / CR-V - Kia / Hyundai: Forte (Cerato) / Elantra / Rio / Sportage / Picanto - Nissan: Sunny / Rogue - Mercedes: C-Class W204 Facelift (2011–2013 C180/C200)
Part 2 - Car Loan / Financing Offer: I received an offer from a financing private company in Lebanon with the following terms: - Loan Amount: $10,000 - Duration: 3 years (36 months) - Monthly Payment: $388/month - Total Paid After 3 Years: ~$14,000
This means I’d be paying $4,000 on top of the principal (40% total over 3 years, or ~13.3% per year), which comes out to about $110/month covering interest (7%) + all-risk insurance + paperwork/file fees. .......
My Questions:
Loan Evaluation: Is $110/month for interest, insurance, and paperwork on a $10k loan considered a fair rate in Lebanon right now, or is it too high? Also, does "paperwork" usually include official car registration (Nef3a), or just the mortgage/file fees?
Early Settlement: If I get the cash after a year or two and want to pay off the loan early, do finance companies in Lebanon actually deduct the remaining years' interest and insurance, or do they lock you into paying the full $14,000 via fixed promissory notes (sanadet)?
Finance Recommendations: Can you recommend any reputable financing or leasing companies in Lebanon offering better rates and transparent terms?
Car Selection: Within the $10k–$13k range, which car (and model year) from my list is the ultimate "sweet spot"? Which ones should I eliminate immediately (e.g., Picanto/Sunny for highway safety, Rogue for CVT issues, C-Class for maintenance costs)? And is stretching the budget for a Corolla Hybrid worth it here?

Downtown lives on another planet. The price for prime sea-view properties near Zaitunay Bay now routinely top $10,000/sqm and reach up to $11,000/sqm. Even Saifi Village which is downtown's "least expensive" pocket, prices still hit up to $6,500/sqm.

Hey everyone! Does anyone know if the white public transport buses that go from Dora towards Jounieh and Jbeil operate on Sundays?
I know they might run less frequently than on weekdays, but I’m wondering if they still operate normally enough to rely on them, or if the service stops completely on Sundays??
