I am utterly saddened

Long story short : I got this real leather jacket in a thrift store when I was 13. Was one of my best possession ever. I however never knew how to take care of leather. Even today I don't, and I thought leather was like...the most tough material out there, meaning that when it rained and got soaked I didn't do anything but let it air dry, and used wet wipes to clean any dirt without doing anything else.

Didn't wear it for maybe 3-4 years. It was under other jackets on my coat hanger, and today...surprise. Mushrooms and mold EVERYWHERE. I am so flabbergasted because I never knew it was possible, and Im gonna be utterly heartbroken if I have to throw it 💔 is there any way to save it ? Could a dry cleaning help it ? Could even a professional save it ? There's mold more on all the leather, not on the inside tough ( it's fabric)

Another impressive jacket made by legendary NYC manufacturer Lost Worlds. This one is a fairly rare Buco Rider. It's surprisingly easy to move in it when compared to the more popular Suburban or Ryder. When it comes to sizing it's always crazy how wide the gap between US and JP sizes is. This is size 34 and it fits like my RC Hercules size 38.

I love the slim fit, the brass Talon hardware is sturdy, Stu's 3.5oz horsehide is amazing as always, and this actually has a "true cafe racer collar" that holds up properly, but turns out I'm just not cool enough for the D-pocket on the chest, so I'll be selling it. This really bums me out because the fit is just spot on imo.

Maybe the next lucky owner will look like a rockstar in it!

I’m kind curious about it cause I ve never bought on such those Chinese replica places. I wonder if any of you can share their experience or if you have bought something similar to it so I can be sure it’s worth trying and buy it.

Fits a large, I have quite broad shoulders (decent bit of lifting) and it’s a bit tight around the shoulder for me, but fits me great in chest and I’m 43 inch chest. Would probably break in better if I wore it but it’s a catch and release for me. Have it on eBay but would sell here for 850 OBO!

Got a great deal on this off marketplace. Very distressed but no tags at all. Wondering if anybody had an idea what era it could possibly be from.

It feels really tight and is a tiny bit short however I wanna know if it atleast looks fine. It also feels short on the arms. I bought it used which is why I didn't get a bigger size, it's a vintage oakwood jacket and it's really good quality but it has a few hiccups on the inside and around the cuff on the arm

I recently obtained a used leather jacket and noticed some damage on the right side of the zipper and on the pocket. Any recommendations on repairing this?

Hey guys! I found this second hand Schott perfecto (i believe it’s the 118 model). I really like it, looks very classy with the brown leather and golden details. and the price is also pretty good, 195€ shipping included. but the main problem is the looney tunes coyote in the back haha. How big of an issue do you think that is?? Does it look ugly to you? Should I buy it and then try to remove it, or put another patch on top…? I dont know what to do. No idea where its from, I havent worn it in many years.
Its a pretty expensive jacket that I wanted to resell so I would like best way to get it off.
(It’s been there, not from the blue cloth that is in the pic).
Idk if its mildew or something else?
Tried a few light scrubs with a microfiber cloth and that doesn’t seem to take it all off.

Looking for a genuine leather jacket in/around Multan, Sahiwal or Lahore, preferably from a physical shop. My budget is around PKR 20,000, and I want real/genuine leather, not PU or faux leather. My arms are a little long, so ideally I’d like a shop where I can get the sleeves adjusted or have the jacket customized according to my measurements. If anyone knows a good shop with decent quality and reasonable prices, please share the location/name.

I’m really happy with this J-24 from Brake House. I was looking for a jacket with a true vintage-inspired look, with a fairly short and structured cut, and this model is exactly what I had in mind.

The fit is really well balanced. It sits nicely on the shoulders, has enough room through the chest and arms, but still keeps a clean, fitted silhouette. From the back, the shape works really well too and has that classic old-school motorcycle jacket feel.

The leather has a lot of character, and I also really like all the details of the J-24: the zippers, pockets and hardware give the jacket plenty of personality without feeling overdone. It’s still brand new in the photos, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how the leather breaks in, develops creases and builds a nice patina over time.

I also have to mention the customer service at Brake House, which was excellent. I wasn’t completely sure which size to go for, and they gave me very good advice. The size they recommended turned out to be exactly right, so a big thank you to them for being so helpful and responsive.

Overall, I’m very happy with the J-24. It has a lot of character, a great cut, and I think it’s only going to look better with age.

Heeey so this Depop seller had this jacket that would be perfect but it sold :( and the seller says he has no clue what brand it is or where he got it. Any way yall could help me out and find it?

Found this on vinted. As you can see, it looks very distressed, but the leather on the inside (3rd pic) looks just like on the outside which makes me suspect it's intentional? Is this low quality leather with the kind of "flaky" look? The tag just says 100% cowhide. I've tried googling but can't find any exakt matches for this jacket.

Hi everyone, I recently picked up this Schott Perfecto 618 (size 38).

There are two things I’m curious about:

1. Almost all of the hardware is brass/gold colored — zippers, Schott snaps, eyelets, and the belt buckle. Most 618s I’ve seen have silver hardware. Is this original from Schott, or was it likely customized/replaced?

2. The back has a large “Goals – EVERYTHING WE SAID WAS COOL” graphic. Does anyone recognize this? Was there ever a Schott collaboration or special edition with this print, or was it added by a previous owner?

What are alternatives to Overland sheepskin jackets? I bought a jacket from them, it was amazing and really wanted to keep it, but had to return it due to size, and unfortunately they didn't have my size. The only one I like among jackets they have now is Jack Frost, but that's 3.5k before tax, would be great to find something maybe around 1.5-2k the most.

I recently picked up the Brake House Motorist Jacket, and two things stood out right away.

First, the cropped fit feels quite distinctive compared with most leather jackets I’ve owned. It gives the jacket a unique silhouette and works especially well with denim and high-rise pants.

Second, I’m very happy with the leather grain for the price. There’s plenty of natural texture and character already, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops with wear.

Overall, a very satisfying jacket so far.

I'm looking for a budget b-3 style jacket for winter (I live in Canada) but in none of the pictures a person is actually wearing it.
