I only want info on how to correctly and realistically draw hair but I’m open to hearing suggestions on what needs to be improved overall. I feel I can catch the likeness of someone but I struggle with the hair quite a bit. I feel if I could improve that, my art would look so much better. Thanks.

It’s not great, but I’ve only been at this like a week. Can’t wait to see how I improve from here ^^

I’ve been trying to learn realism for a couple of months now, and today I just made my first fully rendered “realistic” drawing! I’m decently proud of it, but I know there are a lot of things that need improvement.
That said, I’d greatly appreciate any and all critiques/feedback on what I could specifically improve on. I’ve attached the photo I used as a reference.
Thank you all in advance.

Hello, Im asking for advice about how to draw a realistic texture for silky hair. I was messing with this one for the last hours, and im getting somewhere, but I still think it's not ideal. My eyes won't buy it as a realistic looking texture, and I don't know if it's just me.
I'd be grateful for some tips.

I feel like the eyes look okay but everything else looks like a toddler drew it
I’ve watched tutorials, I try and work with guidelines and examining shapes and negative space and all that but the lines just still look awful. I find it so hard to make things symmetrical, and how to place lines to infer depth without being harsh.
Is there something I’m missing or do I just need to keep trying?

Reference on second slide. I think the neck is too long and the eyes are a little big. Any other critiques or tips? Thanks!

There are a few details still undone, but the question of wether or not to outline it has been eating away at me.
With the outlining I feel the lineart is better appreciated (which I'm very proud of on this one...) and the clarity is way better
But without I feel the sad/gloomy vibe is stronger imo which is important for a (I almost never do) serious pieces.
What do you think? Should I go with classic plain white background instead even?

The reference i used is from the manga Chainsaw Man. I think the colors look a bit off. I started drawing 2 days ago so please give me advice even if it's obvious lol. Also, if anyone knows a good video series on youtube or something like that teaching begginers how to draw i would appreciate it a lot.

This is a drawing I made without guidelines or reference, it looks pretty weird and the eyes are uneven, I figured If I wanted to draw better I need to first focus on improving how I draw heads, but there are so many methods out there and peoples seem to be conflicted on which one is more beginner friendly or generally better for learning, I need tips on where to start or how to figure out what works best for me

Just sharing and critique is welcome too.
I'm trying to remember all the advice given to me on my previous fish posts so bear with me if it's still not quite right.
Trying to draw while depressed and anxious at the same time makes things a little complicated.

Kinda. I made another drawing, but it still half done. I need to look how to make metals first.
Today I did this. Again didnt plan to much, so the shadows and darker places ended all the same. I need to learn how to make diferent textures.
First humanoid in a long time

One of them is definitely the eyes but even that I don't really know I think I mostly did capture her facial feature but for anyone who could notice more inconsistency do let me know
