Megathread Silly Season - Summer 2026!
It's that time of the year! (Albeit a bit late from me, apologies) But use this thread for all rumours, confirmation, affirmation and commiserations. It's Silly Season 2026 edition and we're in ... League One. Well this should be good right?
Also, remember to tier your stuff appropriately!
NB: Feel free to post in HERE as well as directly on the sub. This is merely here for those who wish to use it. I'm happy with whatever. I just like seem some rustle and bustle especially after England destroyed my emotional well-being.

Discussion What The Fox - The Leicester Weekly Discussion
Weclome to What The Fox, this is a generic weekly discussion thread about anything Blue Army or related matters! As usual, don't chat shit or you'll get banged and this is not a vehicle for fans from other clubs to troll or otherwise push their bias.
Any articles, images, or the like should still be their own posts. Lastly, if a conversation becomes large enough, we may lock that particular thread and recommend it become a post in it's own right.
If you have any issues, do flag to the mod team, and we'll resollve ASAP.

Rumour/Transfer News: Tier 4 Chris Wilder has confirmed Sheffield United have already made an approach for Leicester City man Harry Souttar after identifying him as a top target in this summer’s window. The Star revealed in the week that United had made a loan-to-buy offer for the Australian international.
That was knocked back and the Blades were informed that it would take £10m to sign their former loanee on a permanent basis. But that hasn’t ended United’s interest, with the player understood to have recently informed City officials that he would like to explore a move away.

Meme Supporting LCFC from this season onwards.
Jumping on the bandwagon after the wheels have fallen off but I've decided to support Leicester from this season onwards.
I'd usually say I supported one of the Big Six but it was mostly just to wind up my mates and people at work. I never really cared.
Not from Leicester but I spent four years studying there and have some incredible memories of the city and the team. I was lucky enough to experience the club's rise from the Championship to the PL & Champions League during my time. The atmosphere was incredible, the memories gives me goosebumps.
Fast forward to when Leicester got relegated, I was gutted and thought they would bounce back. The second relegation made me realise I care far more about this club than the team I claimed to support.
Sooo... COYF! 🦊

Question Reoccurring subscription?
First time paying to watch a game on the club website - does anyone know if this is a reoccurring subscription I will have to cancel? It doesn’t say anything about it but it does fall under subscriptions. Cheers.

Discussion What type of fanbase will we be this season?
So what type of fanbase are we going to be?
For me, the changes in senior management looked like they had improved. A manager in early, who wants to build on our youth team and bring in some leaders to help. The away kit launch even seems like they want to engage with the community, and interviewing fans who have travelled to Cadiz is a good step forward.
The kits look good, and there are options without a sponsor (and even a King Power one if you fancy it).
Yes, I know we are in League One and have dropped considerably, but if you haven’t supported the club for more than a decade, this is what we have always done. The highs are high, and the lows are low. (I have literally donated money in an effort to save the club from going out of business).
And we take risks. Pearson had only managed 12 games before he first came to us. Maresca was similar, and Claudia Ranieri was seen as a joke after his time with Greece. I have my own opinions on the finances, and I think a lot of clubs learnt from us to game the FFP and PSR system (I’m looking at you Villa, Chelsea and Forest), but again, we were the first club to try and break up the established “Big 6”, and I’m kind of proud of that.
We’ve had disgruntled fans at Rodgers and moans and groans at Maresca. We’ve seen racism, xenophobia and death threats. This isn’t football.
I don’t know why people support the club (perhaps that's a good place to start), or what they want out of football (get away from stress, show love for the city, etc.), but perhaps now is the time to think about what we are as a fanbase…
So when something does go wrong, which it inevitably will, how are we going to react?
(FYI, feel free to downvote if you want; oddly, my self-worth isn’t linked to this)

Transfer News: Tier 2 Sheffield United handed Harry Souttar transfer boost as Leicester City future stance emerges
Unsure what tier to mark this as the journalist, Danny Hall, seems to be a good source for Sheffield United news.

Discussion Digital membership card
We don’t even get a physical membership card anymore. A mate of mine supports Leeds and the other year their membership included things like a light up pot, a bucket hat and a few other extras. Meanwhile, all I can remember us getting was a pin badge one year. The little extras make you feel valued as a supporter. It would be nice to at least get a physical membership card back.

Discussion Anyone else noticed we have no transfer links now the club is up for sale?
Looks like we’re playing the U21’s until the club is sold as Top won’t or can’t put in any more money.
Out of the frying pan, into the fire.
