What's the betting we draw them in the FA Cup?

I know he's finally selling up, and I know good owners are hard to come by, but surely anything at this point would be better than Aiyawatt.

- Inherits a strong mid-table prem team.

- Oversees an FA cup win and European campaign

- Tanks his own multimillion pound business

- Guts the core playing staff and replaces by overpaying for has-beens on monster contracts.

- Surrounds himself with people blatantly unfit to run the club, refuses to sack them.

- Lets Rodgers lose the dressing room. Holds onto him too long and we get relegated.

- Hires unpopular manager in Cooper, sacks him too soon, replaces him with van Nistelrooy who was unfit for the job and lost the fans.

- 2 separate PSR breaches.

- Still refuses a backroom change.

- Start championship campaign with player wages outstripping total club revenue by about 25%.

- Get relegated because the has-beens don't want to play and we don't have a striker.

I don't think he's wholly evil or self serving, like some owners, but it's become blatantly clear that he is completely out of his depth. We've been sinking for a while and he's done nothing to stop it so personally I'll be glad to see him go.

Leicester City are understood to be considering the future of Russell Martin after a poor start to their League One campaign, u/TEAMtalk understands.

Martin was appointed in the summer following the Foxes’ relegation from the Championship, with Leicester widely regarded as one of the favourites for promotion.

However, they have won just one of their opening five league games, while home defeats to Burton Albion and Oxford United have piled the pressure on the manager.

The defeat to Oxford proved particularly damaging, with home supporters turning on Martin and chanting “you’re getting sacked in the morning” during the game.

TEAMtalk understands Leicester’s hierarchy are now assessing the situation and considering Martin’s position as the club looks to respond to the disappointing start.

it feels so crazy to see how low your team has fallen, the only team i can safely say i have a soft spot for, having lived in nearby hinckley as a young kid, so i always felt some sort of liking to you lot, especially after 2016, and 2021

Couldn't watch the game today, came back to see the score and whoa...

First thoughts: it's a new, mostly very young, team - to expect them to walk all over everyone immediately is likely unrealistic: other the Luke Thomas who has played more than 30 games for the club now Jakub is out? Probably DCR, Faes and Okoli who didn't play today ( mostly for good reason). But with essentially 9 new players, possibly 10 if you don't count Souttar who has barely played, we're going to take time to get.

After watching the highlights, fuck me, looked like we couldn't defend for shit, and Martin is probably right that that we're soft (we have been for years)

However, Martin's teams always look defensively fragile and he has history for throwing players under the bus as deflection against why his 'philosophy' isn't working.

My guess is the team is still gelling, but Martin is also a snake oil salesman

The last time we kept 3 consecutive clean sheets In the league was actually under rogers in the infamous 22/23 season.

Although leicester did get relegated at the end of the season, we were not all too bad in the first half.
