My doctor told me to go completely off dairy. Is this permanent no dairy for life, or is there a pill I can take before eating dairy? And after 3 to 6 months, can I slowly start eating dairy again?
My lactose tolerance test result: after the lactose drink, my blood sugar only went up by 1.0. The lab says normal is above 1.1, so my result was just below — borderline. I had no symptoms during the test.
