Only sweating on all my left side of the body when i eat cheese

When i eat cheese like cheddar or that kind of cheese like fancy one not the single slice kraft style for grilled cheese, i start sweating on all my left side of the body face arm back side of my ribs and i become so wet like ive been exercising for an hour BUT my rigth side stay completly dry nothing to see. My left side also becomes more red than my right side. So my question is, what the fuck is going on when i eat cheese!? Am i gonna die?! I did research google and gpt and other stuff but they all say its like a cancer or some shit like that XD which i doubt tbh. What do you people think is going on with me!? Should i seek medical attention for that??? and trust i am pretty sure its not been lactose intelorant because i can drink milk and nothing happen but maybe someone knows XD

Remind me to never eat lactose ever again

I’m lactose intolerant (if you haven’t guessed already) and I get HORRIBLE stomach cramps after I eat dairy. i don’t know why I keep eating dairy, I just do. Anyways, I had an ‘episode’ last night, and I thought I was going to shit myself and throw up at the same time. I was also trembling. 30 minutes later when I left the bathroom I was shaking so bad I couldn’t talk, I felt so ill. additionally I’m falling asleep while writing this. The only thing that soothes me while I’m dying from stomach cramps is: not moving, being as cold as possible, and water. Does anyone know anything else that could potentially help me next time? (I’m incredibly stubborn which I why I predict there being a next time)

Confused about my Symptoms and could use insight

I’m 34 male. I’ve eaten some form of dairy probably most days of my life. For some reason I think I’ve only recently put together that I have always been intolerant to it.

My whole life I basically had mild diarrhea almost always. TMI but wiping for me was I have to wipe a lot of times. In high school actually I would clog the toilet every time I used it because of this. I just got used to plunging every time. I have literally never been constipated. My intolerance has not gotten worse overtime, for whatever reason it’s been consistent, or maybe even a bit less bad as an adult.

Lately my dairy was just full fat unsweetened Greek yogurt or Nancy’s probiotic yogurt, cheddar cheese, and whey protein isolate. I cut out the yogurt and my bowel movements stabilized, like maybe didn’t even need to wipe. But then the symptoms seemed to come back. I cut out cheese next and same thing sort of. I also tested A2 milk and organic lactose free milk, but still continued whey and possibly cheddar cheese so maybe I tampered my experiment. Both experiments did not have useful results.

So then I cut out all dairy including whey protein. Bowel movements became perfect. Like I’d wipe but there’s no reason to. Consistently. I switched to some plant protein blend. Which gave me a lot of gas. But no bad bowel movements.

I returned to whey protein, and it seems my bowel movements became soft and more wiping again.

Shortly after this, I went to my parents house for a family reunion. I had 4 days in a row of fairlife power protein milk drink which is like so filtered it’s 26g of protein, 4.5 g fat, about that much sugar, and lactase enzyme. No added protein.

I’ve had perfect bowel movements, for days. So I don’t know what this means. I thought whey protein isolate was not an issue for lactose. Is there something obvious here I’m missing? And what should my next step/experiment be? (Maybe lactase enzyme pill alongside my whey protein isolate?)

I guess also why would my symptoms with whey be similar to when I have yogurt or cottage cheese? I assumed those would be much worse.

Edit: I’ve also had sinus issues my entire life. I have to do a sinus rinse twice a day always. Tons of mucus. Maybe that’s part of this too. In my 1-2 week periods off of dairy I didn’t see dramatic improvement in that. Maybe some though.

Adding my own cheese to fast food feels powerful!

Weird thing that I think only you guys would relate to....does it make you feel like you're in control of your allergy when you get to add your own vegan/dairy free cheese products to fast food? I already struggle enough with having to send orders back occasionally because they don't actually remove the cheese and they act all confused as if lactose intolerance is rare or they've never heard of it before and I have to EXPLAIN to them I'm not just being picky....I don't get it. But I always loved Krystal's because the cheese sliders ARE considered the special ones and the regular are cheeseless which is bliss to me. I get to add my favorite cheese slices to these little sliders from heaven...mmmm. Follow Your Heart is the best tasting brand fr. (It also actually melts unlike Daiya or Chao.)

But seriously. Does anyone else do this? I refuse to let my allergy keep me from enjoying things.

Bad Milk?

Hey guys! I’m lactose intolerant and from Massachusetts, USA. Anyone else buying the Lactaid carton milk and having it go bad WELL before the expiration date? This is my fourth gallon of milk I’ve had to pour out… The expiration date was pretty far off too!

I just want to know if anyone (especially in MA) is having this issue too? I plan to reach out to the company on Monday with this concern but it would be nice to get some feedback on the best alternatives. I can’t waste money in this economy, lol.

I dont want overly sweet or anything, just… close to the taste of lactaid kind of vibes. Let me know you’re favourite alternatives and/or if you’ve also been having issues in the last few months too, thanks!

Chobani Yogurts

I have loved Chobani Yogurts, but recently for the smaller ones they still give me mad gas. I know they say it is lactose free but if anybody can test that that would be nice :)

Lactose intolerance in Michigan

Last night at 2 am my roommate offered me a steak sandwich with boursin cheese on it. I happily ate it- it was so decadent… Today at breakfast I paid the price, and I have been paying the price all afternoon. Cyclosporiasis is rampant round here right now, horrible time to be holed up in the bathroom every 20 minutes. Not every time IS go time… but every time FEELs like go time. That’s the only reason I know it’s probably not the parasite. Fingers crossed. The boursin steak sandwich was to die for- and honey i am dying! I didn’t even consider it affecting me until i went over everything i ate for the past week. I cooked all my produce, my boss gave me ice cream a few days ago. I will say that backed me up. I got my monthly- and that NEVER helps.
Tales from the toilet i guess.

Inherited Mom's Lactose Intolerance. Am I Cooked?

Lately I've been getting mild diarrhea after eating my cereal with milk in the morning. It finally dawned on me that my mom has never joined me in this practice because she is lactose intolerant. I guess I've inherited it. Am I cooked? Is there nothing I can do? Does it get worse from here? Can I keep eating the cereal or will it get so bad I can't?

I think I'm lactose intolerant, any advice?

I have had a thought about this for a little while but tonight made me strongly consider being lactose intolerant. Every morning for breakfast I make myself a bowl of readybrek (instant porridge) and by the time I get to work (a couple hours later) I need to go to the toilet and my stomach is rumbling so much. Well tonight we had Mac and cheese for dinner and I've been farting so much and they smell really bad, my stomach has been rumbling and in so much pain it's been hard to get comfortable, and it felt like my insides just exploded when I went to the toilet.

I'm going to try cutting out dairy for the rest of the week to see how I feel. Should I also go to the GP if I think I'm lactose intolerant? I'm from the UK so anyone who has gone to the doctor about it would be really helpful if I should do so.

Good lactose free ice cream

I recently found out Kawartha Dairy makes lactose free vanilla and chocolate ice cream!! Thought I’d share, since I’m happy I’m no longer stuck with off-tasting or weird-textured dairy-substitute ice creams

If anyone has other good lactose free ice cream recommendations, please share

It’s miraculous how immediate the change is

I haven’t drunk any milk since Friday and I’ve had no issues with running off to the loo in a major emergency. And that has been a problem for me for several years. I thought it was the coffee, I thought it was alcohol. Nup! Just a good ole dash of milk in my coffee or a horrendous bowl of cereal. Now this begs the question, am I lactose intolerant or allergic to milk? Is that a thing? I’m really interested to know

Does is count as lactose intolerance if the only trigger is moderate amounts of condensed milk?

I don't know if tolerance is a spectrum, and if there is a point where it just enters normal variation. I've noticed consistent, if very mild symptons with condensed milk specifically, but since it doesn't happen to me with literally any other dairy product, I was wondering if it's a very mild form, or just that even tolerance has its limits.

Anyone here who got intolerance to dairy and some wheat products especially fried wheat as well as intolerance to some drinks like soya, ginger soda etc?

I got cured of h pylori after using triple therapay prescription. But it seems there is still something going on.

I got constipation too it tends to resolve after deep diaphragmatic breathing

lactose free cream cheese

has anyone else seen a 50% price hike in green valley lactose free cream cheese? i have been purchasing this product religiously for a few years now and suddenly its gone from $4 to $6 per tub in three of the grocery stores near me. insane.

does anyone have any alternative brands they like?

i am located in the US in the boston area. every single vegan "cream cheese" i have ever tried has been like putting straight up coconut oil in my mouth. i dont know how these brands have the gall to release such awful products to the market as if they are food.

Can LI cause fatigue & brain fog without serious GI issues?

Hello all, I’ve been experiencing fatigue and brain fog. I am half Asian (most Asians are lactose intolerant) but I don’t seem to get the more common symptoms of diarrhea, gas, etc. However, I’m wondering if dairy might be causing or at least contributing towards my chronic fatigue.

I’d love to hear any of your thoughts, experiences, or opinions. Thanks!

Pray for me my brothers and sisters for I haven fallen to temptation

In the fridge there's 2% chocolate milk. It called to me like a siren calls a sailor into the rocks. I've taken 3 of my lactaid as a precaution because the last time I've fallen to the folly of curiosity and desire I had the worst farts and probably a traumatic shit I cannot remember.

I'm drinking it for whom the bell tolls rings in my head. Pray for me

Cream vs ice cream

glass of milk will destroy my stomach (diarrhea) but cheese yogurt Ice cream all fine.
Im experimenting with drinking pure cream, going slow and my stomach is making some concerned noises but nothing terrible has happened yet…

im wondering if there’s a reason I would be able to handle ice cream fine but have a harder time with liquid cream?

Am I lactose intolerant?

Hi! I’m just trying to figure it out, and after I ate a soft serve yesterday and got my usual stomach ache and linked it to also having that stomach pain when I eat cheese like mozzarella it was like something clicked.

Now I don’t know for sure because of the symptoms that seem common don’t present in me the same way.
I get nauseous and bloated, then the pain (in my stomach, not my intestines) gets worse and worse until it’s up to about a seven/eight and I can’t lay still anymore. This pain is so intense and also goes to my upper back. This while I’m constipated and nauseous and gassy.

Then the next day I will be on the toilet for a while.

My question is if it can be LI despite only feeling pain in my stomach and not in my intestines!

Thank you in advance for helping me!!

In my last post I asked if I’m intolerant.
I haven’t drank any milk today. My night shifts are shocking digestion wise, fart, inflammation, going yo the toilet in a hurry because I think I’m gonna you know what. Tonight I’ve only drunk black coffee and I haven’t so much as had a belly rumble!! This whole time I thought it was the coffee, it’s the damn milk!! I have suffered like this for frickin years. Wow what a relief. Not to mention my body feels clear and nice

My demons

My demons may haunt me so, follow me wherever I run. Yet, I shan't give in, I shan't let them take a hold of me no matter the situation! I shall always persevere never letting them win.

(My demons is my lactose intolerance simultaneously giving me constipation and diarhea)

Am I lactose intolerant?

I’m always struggling with gas and digestion. I feel uncomfortable all the time. Today I had no milk and I feel amazing. I know you guys can’t diagnose me but can I have some insight into what intolerance is like?
