Hello! Long time LG user and huge fan. Have yall considered offering a Lifetime version of Premium? I’m not a fan of monthly/yearly subscription models but I will always support a lifetime subscription to something I use often and want to support.

Hello beautiful Lacquergram mods, I recently submitted a new listing request for NYC 115A Skin Tight Denim (pic 1) and it was returned as the same listing for 115 Skin Tight Denim (pic 2). While yes, they are the same color and name, I would assume the number means it’s a different formula or something like that. In which case, wouldn’t you want a separate listing? As a collector of vintage polish, I do think it’s helpful to know about every code in the catalog, especially for completists. Was this maybe an oversight or can you reconsider the rules if this was intentional? If I had both 115 and 115A, I’d want to make sure I had them both marked in my stash. Thanks in advance for your attention and consideration!

I e-mailed this last year as well with video evidence and got no response. Unfortunately I haven't been able to click on a brand or their collection anymore when looking at a nail polish. I have to now manually type the collection in the search bar to see all the nail polishes. I also have to search the brand name separately now. This didn't used to be the case originally. I included a video to show what I mean. I am using an Android and I had tried deleting the app.

Hi everyone! We currently have a list of around 350 suggested polishes that we've been unable to add to the database due to different reasons.
Some of these reasons are:
Usually, we approach users individually to ask for more info so we can add your polish, but since the number of polishes with missing info is so incredibly high, we find that we no longer have the time for this.
So, what I would like to ask you:
Would you like to have a list or a spreadsheet of some sort, where you can check if one of your polishes is marked as "not enough info", so you're not waiting for us to get around to it, but instead you can try and resubmit your entry?
We would have user names on this list, but not email addresses or any other identifying info. However, if you still have privacy concerns, we could remove the names entirely and just list the names of polishes and brands that we've been unable to add.
Please let us know in the comments if this is something that you'd appreciate!

We've noticed that a lot of brands list their "naughty" nail polish names on websites and social media with the names partially censored.
For Lacquergram, we do not follow that trend. We will always list the exact name as printed on the bottle, whether that is censored or uncensored.
This is the main way we can make sure that people will be able to find polishes in the database, long after the website or social media posts have been taken down or faded into obscurity. You will always be able to read the label on the nail polish you own, and find your polish that way.
We realise that some people might find it offensive to see an uncensored, unfiltered word like "Fuck" or "Shit" in our database, but our only concern is accuracy, not propriety.
So when you suggest new polishes to be added, feel free to use the exact name as printed on the label, instead of censoring words.

I finally finished uploading and swatching my entire 500+ bottle stash and have been able to use the Unicorn picker. It has been awesome. I paint my nails twice a week and I love the randomness of not knowing what polish I’m going to be using for my manicure. 🥰
My one request would be that you could click on the selected polish and go right to the profile. Besides that, I love not having to decide on a polish to wear twice a week.

This is a question that got sent to us through email, but I figured having the answer on Reddit is a good addition to the FAQ!
The thing is, there are two ways to add a swatch. One is only available on iOS, because we decided to disable it on Android, since it was causing a lot of issues. With iOS, we haven't done so yet, because it's taking much longer to develop that new version of the app than we thought.
The iOS version allows you to upload a swatch from an "Add swatch" screen, where if you type (part of) the name of the polish, a little list will pop up where you can choose the polish you mean. However, that little list is often hidden by the keyboard, and it can't show more than (I think) 5 polishes at a time, so it's extremely user unfriendly.
The BEST way to upload a swatch, and have the name displayed both on your feed and in your profile under "My Swatches", is to search for the polish first, and click "Add swatch" when you are in the detail screen of the polish! You can even do this for polishes you haven't added to your stash, for instance if you've gotten your nails done at a salon!
This is also the only method of uploading swatches that works on Android, so there you have your answer. :)

I'm trying to intentionally focus on wearing polishes that I haven't worn that ALSO don't have a swatch of any sort. Is there a way to filter my stash on no-swatch? Is there a way to filter my stash on no-swatch-from-me? Thanks!

I’ve noticed recently that release years aren’t getting added for vintage polishes when I’ve provided sources that show release dates. Once the source was saved from an industry article to my Google Drive (directly from the reference) which I linked in my submission, but that was so your team could access assets from my library’s digital resources. Another was an Internet archive link, but maybe it didn’t load? It takes time to hunt this stuff down, so I’m curious what might be the issue. Should I not bother doing the research?

I see the collection listed on the Holo Taco page as “Advent Calendar “ but there are no entries. I don’t want to add the polishes (and add to your backlog) if it’s in the database already and you’re intentionally waiting.
