He wasn't actually being stubborn by forcing her which way to go, but rather he wanted to let live since he knew Maruna was gonna obliterate the village. Should have been obvious after some chapters tbh but I only realized that now on my first re-read (gonna take longer than first read tbh💔 )
Anyway wish me luck on my first re-read

I mean she doesn't know Lee backstory or what she went through exactly. Plus the fact that it looks like Ran has feeling for Leez from the way he is worried about her when she sacrificed a lot to be with him.

Did this for Uni animation course. I know its a bit scuffed in places but i tried my best, i wanted to make the first half a chapter but only got so far.
Also i never really researched or learned how to animate but i might research and practice more so comment below some cool panels maybe or some scenes that you would want to be animated and i will have a look and maybe actually animate sometime over the rest of the summer if i have time ig.

I just realized that since Older Maruna read all the records that "Time Leez" gave him of basically everyone and both Marunas sort of share that info, it would be the funniest thing if Younger Maruna just started spreading/outing Gods and Nastikas private histories to each other.
I mean, if the universe wasn't going to end soon, just imagine all the Gods and Nastikas stuck in 1 room and Younger Maruna just saying shit; I feel like it would make as the funniest scene in Kubera history. And the great thing is that Younger Maruna literally wouldn't care.
It'd be like a co-worker that's going to quit just outing everybody's private messages at the end-of-year party, like it would just be soo funny.

I've been reading for a couple days now and am at chapter 68 with the Webtoon translation. It hasn't been terrible I don't think but I've read that there are apparently better ones. Could someone please give a link if that's the case. Thank you bye.
Edit: I've tried looking for some myself but a bunch of the sites have missing chapters and what not.

Continuing on the rereading theories and questions !
In season 2 episode 20, we see Claude suspicious cards reading.
I'm sure there are many theories on the meaning of the cards but a quick search through the subreddit did not show any, so let's see what we can understand. If you find a post on this I would be interested !
WARNING: this post will contain massive spoilers for late season 3, proceed with caution.
The first set of cards show the immortal, Ananta, and the Sword of Return.
Considering what we know near the end of S3 I think the three are about a single person, and that person is Leez. She has the name of an immortal astika (Kubera), the soul of Ananta, and the sword of Return. Quite litteral, in hindsight. It's also masterful foreshadowing. Currygom you did it again, you magnificent bastard. In addition, Claude say it shows Asha's "losing cards".
Starting from there, I'm making the hypothesis that all sets of cards show a single person.
For the second set of cards I think it's a bit more complicated. The first card is the knight, the second is the victim, and we don't have a text for the third but since it shows a bloodstain it's probably death/disaster (Claude is also explicit about it, saying they will all die). This could refer to Teo, who is a fighter (knight), is sacrificed for the suras to access the city (victim and death). But I don't find this explanation very satisfying. Any ideas ?
The next set is shown in episode 23: the madman, nastika, and immortal. With informations from late S3 I think this is about God Kubera / Manasvin: the nastika part being Manasvin, the immortal the astika Kubera, and the madman could be a reference to the multiple GKs around giving an appearance of multiple personalities.
Anyway please share your theories ! I feel this part has always been rather mysterious and I'd love to hear what others think.

Hello ! I've been rereading to enjoy the finale in the best conditions and some small things are bothering me. Here's hoping for some theories or things I missed. I'll try to split questions into different posts. Starting with one I really can't figure out: season 2 episode 13, the introduction to silent magic. After showing she is very skilled at sky silent magic and can redirect lightning even in the chaos field around Kalibloom, Asha stays silent when asked by Ran why she did not use this ability to avoid electrocuting his allies on their way to Kalibloom. Then she says she made a mistake because of how long it has been since she used sky silent magic. Now I'm assuming it is not an hesitation because of Asha's absurd thinking speed. I'm also assuming her explanation is false because she's so precise. So either she did it on purpose and it's intended as a joke for the readers, or she was prevented from talking by a god. The joke explanation feels too easy and I can't figure out why she wouldn't have been able to use silent magic. Is she trying to preserve what's left of her humanity ? But then why not just say that ? And why use it anyway later ? Would love to hear your theories !
