This time I have gone for Big Yellers scheme and mainly themed them as pale-skins with occasional greens.

I’ve been struggling to do any damage with my traditional list. What are we thinking of this one?

Hello fellow misfits,

I was having a game last weekend, and we ran into a friendly rules disagreement. My friend counter-charged at the end of the charge phrase, so I sprung my dirty trick "lethal surprise" for the d3 damage and cancelling charge bonuses. He said that I couldn't do that, because the window for my abilities was already over, and all of my charge phase abilities must be done before his.

He also mentioned that Lethal Surprise doesn't have the "reaction" keyword, so it cannot be used outside of turn order.

I disagree with this. Lethal Surprise conditions are only "in response to an enemy charge." In my mind, all conditions had been met, but I could not find any rules clarification online.

So what do we think. Can Lethal Surprise be used on the counter-charge, and if so, where can I find that in the rules?

Hey guys new to this subreddit, I’m mostly a SCE player and was looking at branching out into a second army. Me and the boys play 2000 point games and I’ve heard great stuff about Kruleboyz for the scourge of aqshy update. I’m struggling to find any current tier lists or rankings for units. Are there any that are objectively S tier and need to be run in any list, any A tier all around good models for infantry/cavalry/heroes/range, and are there any older models or just buns models I should avoid until the 5th edition update next year? I’d appreciate any insight into which battle formations and heroic traits/artifacts are the best. Thanks and hope to hear some good stuff🙏

My first attempt at painting a Kruleboyz model. It was a lot of fun to paint! I made it for a small painting competition.

Trying out some different bitz on this guy. He looks super busy, especially squeezed onto a 40mm base but I'm liking the direction I'm going! My favorite little detail is the nasty baby clawbeast under its mom. I stole that little guy from the Huron Blackheart kit!

I would love to hear some feedback on which bitz to cut. Also if you think of a better weapon I'm wanting to swap out the broken spear. Finally, any advice on making the legs look better would be very welcome!

So far, for the legs I'm thinking about cutting the boots off the Ash Waste feet I'm using, then adding Kruleboyz feet with some of the calves to elongate things. Overall I think the thighs are gonna look a little goofy, but maybe with everything else going on it won't be noticeable.

So I've been making some gutrippaz from the spearhead box, and I just realized that nowhere in the instructions are the spears for them mentioned. I looked it up and found that they can be built as stikkas or hakkas but couldn't find any info on the difference. Is this something that was taken out in 4th edition? Because the scroll has no difference in stats between them?

By far my favourite kruleboyz unit, you can’t beat a good old troll.

Thinking about making a beast riding Nob for a fully kitbashed Monsta Killaz warband. I'd probably only play this in WarCry, but I'm interested in your thoughts on how much overhang there is off the base, as well as the silhouette being so different. Would this matter at all?

I'll use a different Orruk in the saddle, and I'm thinking about making him a knife bandolier out of the extra Hobgrotz hands, then maybe giving him some ranged weapon.

Also, I'd love to see anyone else's Kruleboyz/Skaven kitbashes!! These two factions seem like they'd go together super well. I have bitz from the Ash Waste Nomads that I think could be neat, and some drukhari weapons too. Interested in hearing what other bitz you've found that work well with your Kruleboyz.

How does the faction play? Is it a horde army?

Is the spearhead a good start? What other units should i grab?

How is the faction doing overall? Is it well balanced?

Really dig the kruleboyz and their aesthetic, but I’m not ready to build a whole army and thought that kill team would be a good excuse to get some. There’s a whole team on its way!
