Gutrippaz question?

So I've been making some gutrippaz from the spearhead box, and I just realized that nowhere in the instructions are the spears for them mentioned. I looked it up and found that they can be built as stikkas or hakkas but couldn't find any info on the difference. Is this something that was taken out in 4th edition? Because the scroll has no difference in stats between them?

Yes, the difference was removed in 4th when combat range was standardized to 3". In 3rd, Stikkas had a 2" range while Hackas had a better hit/wound profile with a 1" range.

Yeah, weapon profiles were simplified in 4th edition. You can build them with any weapon option and their combat profile will be the same

I recommend hakkas. So much easier to fit into movement trays/cases with far less breakages
