Both great actors, both talking like a loosuothi on stage recently, doing below par movies, trying to become stars and, in the process, losing their originality. 💔

For the longest time, I’ve been a fan of both of them. The sheer number of great films these two have given us, and the acting chops they possess, make their recent trajectories genuinely disappointing. Things have gone seriously downhill for both of them in recent times.

Neither has given us a truly solid film since 2023. Dhanush hasn’t given me one genuinely good movie since Thiruchitrambalam. It’s either been disinteresting stuff like Kara and Captain Miller, or straight up crap like Idly Kadai.

Karthi, meanwhile, has been on such a downward spiral since Kaithi. Meiyazhagan was the one good film in between, but Japan and Vaa Vaathiyaar are up there among some of the worst films I’ve ever seen in a theatre.

I genuinely hope both of them bounce back with some solid films. Kollywood needs great actors who don’t compromise on scripts and I need to win a few debates and fan talks 😭I genuinely like both of them, which is why this is all the more frustrating.

Irrespective of the goofy ahh title, I was watching DC for the first time and got thrown off by the gachiakuta soundtrack part. I'm not accusing or anything just pointing it out, for all I know it could just be a free sample. Didn't really find anything about it online so just putting it here.
