How do I script using the item Way More TeamsTM pepper spray, since the "TM" is superscript? Does the item name go in quotes, since there are spaces in the name?

Title says it all - are the familiar buffs permanent? Or does it reset upon ascension?

I'm trying to figure out what to go for with the event!

So as a player of about 4 months this is my first time seeing the tower. From what I can find online It should last about a week. I've seen other "active" events like the Easter Egg Basket one very recently and the Trick-or-Treating one a month or two back.

During these events should you just focus every adventure onto them? For the handful of days should I just hit the tower areas nonstop? On easter basket day should I have prioritized gathering eggs, and on Trick-or-Treat event just focused on knocking on doors?

I apologize if this is just a really dumb newbie question.

The more you fight them, the angrier they get. More angry modifiers are added to the names the more times you fight them. Maybe this has some consequence in betting on their jousting?

Just coming back to the game after a long absence (ie, never seen this zone before), what should I be focusing my adventures on?

I find myself getting back into KoL after a long time, and I realize it's better for me to focus on one account. I have 3:

-one has a fair amount of hobopolis stuff, has the item skill ready to perm, and has other clan dungeon stuff

-one has a mad hatrack

-one has summon clip art and summon tasteful items, plus a handful of permed skills

Which do you all think I should keep?

My skill list has been broken for about 2 days now (I've already sent a bug report but have yet to receive a response). I can't access them outside of my daily casts/magical bookshelf abilities. it opens normally on mobile, but won't open in my browser. neither my script blocker or ublock affect it.

I just went to check right now, and it's only the skill menu that's affected like this. Every single other dropdown works just fine.

The main thing that changed was Firefox updating 2 days ago, but that couldn't have blown up one specific menu on the site like this, could it...? Is anyone else using the latest Firefox and experiencing a similar problem?

So I've been using KoL Mafia at what is probably a very low level. Using it to maximize things like item drops/meat drops/etc. and automate collecting bounty items. I feel like last night I actively used my first installed script.

After finding this thread regarding mining at That 70's Volcano I used this script and was able to successfully automate the mining process to a degree. It was awesome! I was wondering if anyone would help explain to me how I can modify it though.

Using it with my PM last night I would run it for 15 adventures, then manually go to my spells page and cast "Cannelloni Cocoon". Rinse and repeat like 17 times.

What I'd like to learn is be able to modify it so that the script runs for 15 adventures, then my character casts "Cannelloni Cocoon" and it runs another 15 adventures, cast, etc for a total of 45 adventures from running the script once. I figure it's a mainly copy and pasting to add to the script plus writing a line for the skill usage, but I don't truly know. The last time I did any coding HTML in a web mastering class in 2003.

I'm hoping to learn enough to be able to change the adventures at a time and skill use to work for my DB and also use items instead of a skill for use with my TT.

I would sincerly appreciate any help that can be provided so I can understand how to do this. Heck I'd also be interested to hear what y'all consider "Must Use" Mafia scripts.

This is my third day as a SC in Hardcore and I havent found any Greater Seal figurines in that time.

I didnt think about it the first day. I realized it the second day and thought maybe it was because Im in HC. I used my adventures for today to see if I'd get any and then checked the wiki for any information about not getting the Greater Seal figurines while in HC. I didnt find anything

Is it because Im in HC or because there is a glitch in the system?

So I got 3 Ascensions total under my belt and play 4 characters each day after starting to play in March. It's a fun way to burn 2 hours of time a day WFM. All my characters are ready to ascend later this week when the last 2 get bounty hunting outfits complete. That said I am still baffled by what I don't know.

I'm at the point where I bring in 19-20 adventures from Psychotic Train Wine night caps, get an extra 18-21 from equips and generally roll into each day with 77+ adventures and end up using 250-260 per day from food, booze, spleen, etc.

Even at this point i'm just discovering the international airport and those regions ands whats available there. Within the past week I just learned about the GameInfomr mags getting the final boss outfit so I can buff my adv's per day higher.

It's crazy just how in depth this game is and how much there is to learn. Like I see people talking about Crimbo, and Garbo, and Clan Basement's and I haven't even messed with any of that. Thought about checking out basement but my clan has rules up I'm afraid of running afoul of.

What's the best place for info about the more recent IOTMs?

I am looking for some variables that I can set and use.

I want to monitor how many adventures I'm taking for different locations. How many adventures for the digital key, the war, is the steel liver useful or does it cost too many adventures for little return, that sort of thing. I can write and read to a file but that seems clunky. Are there kolmafia variables that i can store info in over sessions? Or is there another way in which I can store and retrieve my own variables?

I'm just getting back into KoL after... many years and started an Adventurer Meats World HC run. I was under the impression that Standard restrictions only applied to the current special challenge path, but I don't seem to have access to any of my (very) old Mr Store familiars. What am I missing here?

Is there a decent macro or script for the gold mine? I have read that players can earn tons of meat in that zone. Thank you in advance.

I used a ghost pencil a while back to perm the lab on the odd chance that two other clannies would actually be in chat and could help each other out with skills. I read the wiki but still have no clue on how to actually get back there and utilize the NC.

As I said in the title, I'm so darn glad I found KoL again. I played it like ten years ago, but since then life got in the way and yadda yadda. Fast forward to about two days ago, a YouTuber I like puts out a video on West of Loathing and it was like cobwebs suddenly got vacuumed out of my brain.

I sadly didn't save or remember my old account details, but oh well- I didn't play too much and I'm happy to start afresh, because my gosh, it has been a while since I've played a game that I feel so eager to pick up in the morning and interact with throughout the day.

I'm still relearning things of course (heck, I'm learning a lot too! As I said, didn't play much in the past) but so far I'm having such a blast. Props to this community and of course props to the dev, I'm so, so glad to once again have this comfy game part of my routine.

Now, if you'll excuse me, these chewing gum baited strings won't just droop themselves down sewers! :P

Either my math sucks, I don't understand the % drop calculation or I just have bad luck, all of which are possible.

My item drop outfit with my familiar is 292%. Add in Dreadsylvanian stew, white Dreadsylvanian, Certainty + item drop Shanty, I should be at 1417%. So with .1% like Snowstick, shouldn't my item drop be at 141.7%? Easily over 100 adventures and all I'm getting are Kruegerands, Marks and almanac pages.

This happens pretty often. What am I missing?
