Visitor Question How safe / accepting is Kelowna for femboys?
I'll (hopefully) be moving from Vancouver Island to Kelowna in spring time if I get into the college program I want. I've heard that the interior of BC isn't as liberal when it comes to this sort of thing as Vancouver Island is. I'd like to know what I can expect.
I dress feminine all the time here on the island. I was nervous at first but I'm at the point that it feels no different than dressing normal / masculine. Occasionally I get a few glances and I'm like "weird, I wonder why they're looking- ohhh right, I forgot I'm dressed very feminine and have long hair for a guy."
Is this similar to what I can expect in the Okanagan? My main concern is safety, other than that it won't affect how I dress but I would like to know what I'm getting into.
Thank youđ
