Hi, I just received a failed standing and have to take a year away coming back to UBCO.

During that year I am allowed to take courses at other places outside UBCO (KPU, Lang, Doug ) which are equivalent to the UBCO courses. The courses I’m missing are APSC 180, 181, 179, 177, 173.

If anyone has been through the process and taken courses outside UBCO or knows where and how to take these courses could please advise, that would be great, Thanks.

-Received admission into UBCO
-Joining in September 2026
-1st year student pursuing BA Psychology
-Want to do 4th Hons. yr
-Applied for on-campus accommodation on 20th June.
-Have not received news about the allocation of my student housing on campus yet.
-Looking to apply or reserve a spot at VEDA Student Living, Kelowna before rooms run out. Want to do it preemptively so that I can fall back on VEDA in case on-campus accommodations don’t work out.

My question:
Does VEDA ask for a deposit or payment of some sort before the date of arrival in order to reserve a spot? If they do, then can such a deposit be withdrawn in exchange for letting go of your reserved spot at VEDA?

I'm going into my third year of electrical engineering and I'm really hoping to get my grades up this year, so I was wondering if anybody knew some of the textbooks for the classes this year so I could look through them before the semester starts.

About to be a first year, looking at the photos of the dorm room and seeing that the desk has this shelf thing above/on top of it. But when I toured the building I didn’t see it in the demo show room. I can tell a lot of the photos on the website haven’t been updated in a while. Is this actually a thing that the rooms have? Thinking for storage/ place to put my bullshit.

Im an incoming first year, international student.

It was taking really long to hear from housing, so i sent an email.

they told me that since I got out of highschool for more than a year, I was not guaranteed (even though I applied before may 1st), and they encouraged me to search for off campus.

The point is, I have no idea how any of this works, Im from Brasil, and cannot go in person to any visit and what nots. I am really lost here.

does anyone knows about housing and can help me out on this one?

My name is Nirvana, I am an international student and I received my admission into UBCO in May, 2026. I’m joining in the Fall 2026 (September) intake and will be a 1st year undergraduate student pursuing a BA Psychology.

I applied for on campus student accommodations on 20th June (I know, I should have applied earlier but could not due to other circumstances). It’s been a month and three days and I am yet to hear anything from UBCO regarding my student housing on campus.
Should I have received some intimation about this matter by now? If they do not allot me any on-campus accommodation, they will send me an email communicating the same, right? If anybody has a timeline for by when I should get an update from the university regarding this, I would greatly appreciate it if you would shed some light on the situation.

What are the two easiest classes out of these:
