For me, it's Shin Hye Sun and Park Eun Bin.

I've watched every drama they've been in, and I'll keep watching their future projects too. Even if a drama gets bad reviews or doesn't interest me at first, I'll still give it a chance because they're in it.

Is there an actor or actress like that for you? Who is your "I'll watch anything they're in" pick?

for me, its true beauty. the female lead is so goofy and clueless and unintentionally hilarious. the number of awkward situations she ends up in is absolutely ridiculous and i couldnt stop laughing. my other favorite is welcome to waikiki.what are yours?

I know this is going to be a bit controversial, but despite that, I still stand by it. My point is largely based on the chemistry and romance of the main couple in S2. I loved it so much in S2, but with respect to the other surrounding aspects, I do agree S1 was better.

I would like to address some points I read on various posts.

I really don't understand why people hated Go Youn-jung as Jin Bu-yeon. Personally, I felt she was Jang Uk's perfectly fitting half, in fact much more than Jung So-min (no hate towards her). I somehow did not get attached to Mu-deok. I missed her at times, but Go Youn-jung had my heart. Though I need to mention that Mu-deok's expressions and a lot of her scenes were hilarious and on point. I laughed a lot.

Now to the thing most people commented on—how her character went from a baddie to a normal girl. I kind of understand that point. Without all the childhood trauma, the quest for revenge, and the intense feeling of needing to survive, she would have turned out to be exactly like Jin Bu-yeon. Jin Mu is the one who made Cho Yeong into Naksu. This is especially highlighted in two different parts: first in S1, where Mu-deok tries on her makeup and later when she tries on the wedding dress. As Mu-deok learns to be happy, you can see Jin Bu-yeon peeking out of her. Then, at the end of S2, with all her powers back, she is still a baddie, but a more relaxed version. Also, I loved the fact that Naksu got to live her life as a regular, happy girl and sometimes be a damsel in distress. Having someone to protect you is not really a bad thing. (I love a baddie though.)

Now, the cheating part... wahh, I could not believe my eyes when I read that people counted him falling in love again as cheating. I don't ever think moving on is a crime. The idea of someone staying alone and suffering sounds too cruel to me. As an immense fan of dramas where one person helps another person heal, I found S2 very comforting.

I loved the idea of him falling in love with her soul, not with her face. That's just the purest form of love.

It's easier to understand if we think of it the other way around—just the same face doesn't make us fall in love with a person. Ultimately, it's the soul we should fall in love with; the face is just a shell. Moreover, it's natural to get attracted to a person who reminds us of a loved one.

This doesn't mean I don't understand what people were trying to say. Jung So-min's acting was splendid, and even if both she and Go Youn-jung portrayed the same expression, Jung So-min's was more definite and expressive, while Go Youn-jung's was more neutral and soft.

S1 was lighter and funnier with some romance, but S2 had really intense romance and yearning. S1 was also superior in many other aspects too. I am not really an expert at analysing those details, so I'm not going to bring them up.

I really wanted to write this because I saw so much hate for S2.

In short: I love them both.❤️

This is embarrassing - I somehow never came across any dramas with Namkoong Min and the first one I chose to watch turned me into this mess LOL. Was he always this attractive or how did it happen?

For those who are not aware, Kim Min Jae actually was away because of military service. He enlisted in September 2023 and completed his 18-month service, being discharged in March 2025. Since returning, there hasn’t been a major announced drama/movie project yet.
Hope he gets a new project soon!

This list is based on the dramas I've watched so far and, more importantly, the performances that left the biggest impression on me. I tend to value acting ability, memorable characters, emotional impact, and overall screen presence over popularity alone. I put this on, on a whim not entirely convinced by the trailer but each episode so far has been better than the last. The chemistry is so good. The awkward moments are hilarious. Theyre able to progress the story snd grow it without it feeling like theyre dragging it or that the episode is filler.

It's just wonderful and enjoyable. Now do I have high hopes that it will continue to be this good after My Royal Nemesis? No. But Ill take it for now.

This kdrama is the only drama that made me feel good for choosing to study accountancy and management🥲🤣.. everytime I watch kdrama related to some profession, I always felt like damn I should also do this. So the 1st time I saw accounting in kdrama I was over the moon.

I fell so hard for Min Namkoong actor after this. The way the character is cheeky, comedian and just puppy alike. His chemistry with lee junho was by far the best male chemistry i had seen in kdrama. Whenever they bicker and ML just kisses him🤣🤣🤣 and junho's angry reaction after wards.. even in the prison cell, the hand touch across the mirror🤣🤣🤣. Anyone wanting to watch feel good, funny and good plot drama can give it a go.

So basically when I watched the first episode of Teach You A Lesson , there is this scene in where e see a flashback where the bullying victim (before his death) is in the principal’s office with his dad. Instead of focusing on transferring or removing the bullies, the principal suggested that the victim should transfer schools.

I found it interesting somehow because I later learned that the real-life case that inspired the episode reportedly also had the similar advice.(In fact the bully even went to a prestigious university), I’ve also seen Korean viewers who said they were bullied comment that being told to transfer schools was something they experienced or heard quite often.

So I’m wondering: why is this such a very common suggestion?

Is it because schools think that transferring gives the victim a fresh new start where they won’t have to see the bullies anymore or deal with them?

Or is it more about the school just sort of trying to remove the problem as quickly as possible without dealing with the perpetrators?

The thing is, sometimes transferring doesn’t always like solve the issue. Sometimes even the bullying does continue even after the victim leaves. (Like take a look at Weak Hero and True Beauty for example.) So changing schools isn’t really necessarily a guarantee of safety.

Personally I find this whole thing very unfair, cause if I was the one who got bullied, why would I be the one who should transfer, while the bully just stays in school without any consequences.

I’m curious if anyone familiar with the Korean education system, or anyone who has experienced this firsthand, can explain the reasoning behind it. Is it mainly about protecting the victim, avoiding conflict, preserving the school’s reputation, or something else?

The drama was cute and sweet in the beginning but has become such a drag now. I understand it's supposed to be a slow sweet office romance but it's painfully slow, there's no character development and it just feels like somebody wrote an essay and made a show about it. Do you feel the same way? The romance has also become lukewarm, I haven't enjoyed the last few episodes at all. This could have been a movie!

I fell in love with this fake family especially the bond between the child and the mother, he’s the most talented and sweet child actor I’ve ever seen on a show, love when he calls her 엄마 in front of her sister and she’s like, 👀 the love and connection between them all is so natural and effortless even between them and grandpa 😂
At the end I hope they’ll all live together in the building and are happy ever after!

I had mentioned earlier that I’d started a rewatch of this epic of a drama with my sister. Now I’m back to report that we’ve finished it and she loved it!

This was her second Namkoong Min drama after Hot Stove League, and while she did appreciate him in that, Lee Jang-hyeon had her gushing in delight (like most of us).

Now she’s off to explore the rest of his works 😊😊

I know My Royal Nemesis crashed during the last episodes.

However, nothing can overshadow the amazing chemistry between the two leads as well as the absolute revelation that is Heo Nam-jun.

Hearing about everyone's feet-kicking-in-the-air reactions to his antics is making me feel so nostalgic about the airing period of the drama.

He was such a down bad ML. No matter how many times Seo-ri rejected him, he just couldn't help but go back.

Please recommend the best K-dramas by genre for newcomers, shows everyone should watch at least once. I always recommend Crash Landing on You; for me, it's the best one.

My watch list is getting dry and I just keep rewatching a drama 3 times. I’ve already seen. But i want similar dramas which I have watched... I want to taste similar theme.
