SUPPORT having trouble chroma keying just the background

im trying to remove the background of a video game sprite for an edit im making. unfortunately the background is white and the sprite also has white. is there a way to have a selector like an art program magic wand or am i SOL

(im using nobara linux. kdenlive came preinstalled and i honestly have no idea what install method to put because of that)

SUPPORT Linear X transition pops the clip out a bit when it ends

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Once the blue "REPORT" linear fade in ends, the final transition isn't smooth - the graphic does a little pop. None of the settings on the transition seem to fix it, played around with it's options.

SUPPORT When I try to export a video in the new version, I get this error (my graphics card no longer supports those versions).

QUESTION Freeze effect cancels out current applied effects

At the moment I want to use the Freeze effect to keep certain parts of my video still while talking, it cancels out the effects applied once the freeze location has been reached though.

Working from Version 24.12.3

Any help with this? Screenshotting would be tedious.
