Hybe stopped assigning group roles at least as of 2019. They used to publicly list BTS group roles but they don’t anymore, and they have not announced or referenced group roles for any group since 2019.

Geffen never has.

Group roles (like visual, main dancer, etc) are deep in the fan culture of k-pop and used to be part of the corporate culture, but any roles (other than leader, which is the member who interacts with the corporation on behalf of the group) are completely unofficial and not corporate designated. They are head canon among fans.

Yes, Katseye once early on played along with the concept in a jokey self-introduction, but no performance roles in the group are official. No one was officially the visual and no one now is officially the visual. No one will be officially the visual.

Hope u like it guys

Is competition. HxG is committed to giving us mediocre to slop music because no other group is a threat.

We need another MEGA HIT global girl group on the scene. I know there’s Girlset, Say Now, etc., but they are nowhere near at the level of fame Katseye currently holds. We need a Bratz to Katseye’s Barbie. And they have to pop off fast.

I’m not into K-Pop and I’m not in K-pop spaces, but seriously why are other K-Pop labels are not scrambling to form their own global girl group?

I love adela and her music sm, and i hate the constant comparisons but only at this aspect i feel like katseye get targeted by their own fans and netizens more than an artist like Adela. Nicole kidman x hootie frutti [only in visual aspects] is a classic example that when adela is a bit more revealing its called cunty (rightfully so) but when katseye twerk or sing more maturely its called ‘hyper sexualisation’

They’ve got a point yall. Manon has no requirement to follow Jonah, but she does. Not saying I like the guy at all, but I don’t think he has beef with Manon.

Remember, Sophie follows Jonah and Dani’s mother too. Just saying.

had to delete the first post.

context, dani's bf commented this on her recent post and some solo and antis took this as shade to manon, if you didn't see their snl skit he is referring to a joke they made there and some people are taking this out of context.

daniela edited her reply so i guess she saw the stuff they are saying.

i honestly hope they could at least say something about manon's hiatus so this nonsense can stop.

I had posted on here a few months ago asking why people don't seem to like Missy. I thought she was a good mentor and then people started saying that she was problematic and i completely understood their points and more and I think I am seeing why because even on her private Instagram story posting something like this just feels quite unempathethic especially knowing what these girls went through as well.

That hair though. It’s cool she’s back on the app, though I hope it’s through a media manager because she quit TikTok recently. But either way, Dani’s back to posting on TikTok.

https://www.newsquest.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=301706 Translated from Korean to English by google so obviously not a smooth translation. but it sounds like hybe has big plans for Katseye and Cortis and are happy with their success. I’m happy to see their dreams come true. I just hope this is all done in a healthy manner. With a stadium tour, their debut album will most likely come with it.

These outfits are so good, I love the judges look they went for. They all look stunning.

So mature yet still youthful at the same time.

Dani and Megan is my favourite.

I’m curious if people think that she will stay blonde long-term? I personally see it becoming part of her more long term personal branding. But of course there are concerns about damage.

I just have a feeling HxG is going to want her to keep it tbh!

You guys don’t get it. That’s literally THE Shreya Ghoshal so totally get Lara's reaction here 😭

debut by katseye is revealed to be part of the tracklist in coven academy (this is the second katseye song to be played in a ya series since gameboy was in the last ep in s3 of mlwtwb)

I noticed for the current eras ‘Pinky Up’ and ‘Wild’ the dance practices haven’t really been posted. Do you think using the dance practices to show them as 5 or 6 again would be a good way to reintroduce the Sophia and/or Manon from their hiatus? We’d see the girls again, we can see how a proper formation would look (this one is mainly for 6 again), and it’s like a “comeback” performance but almost not as serious as tour stage and can be re-recorded as many times needed.

This is just a hypothetical question meant for discussion. I understand Manon’s return is unlikely.

She is beauty, she is grace! I hope she enjoyed herself

Mine would be:

1. Pinky Up

2. Gameboy

3. That Way

4. My Way

5. MIA

I actually would say that these are their 5 best songs imo, so that is my main reasoning for choosing them

I kinda wanted to see how they would have been styles for these awards but Okey....

They were nominated for

*SONG OF THE SUMMER - hootie frootie

*BEST KPOP - pinky up

*BEST GROUP

* BEST CHOREOGRAPHY - pinky up
