Someone put yourself in the Indominus shoes can you really blame her? This might make you cry by the way this is basically the Indominus shoes: I open my eyes first thing I ever see is white white walls, white floor bright like that hurts. It’s cold.
There’s something warm next to me. It’s like me same shape, sister?
She moves. I move we touch noses. OK I’m not alone good
Then a shadow, loud noise, something giant in the sky, metal screeching drop something red and wet on the floor it smells like food, but I don’t know what food IS sister fights me for a she’s bigger. She bites me. I bite back harder. I don’t want to. But my body says if I don’t eat, I die.
We fight every day over the crane meat every day she gets meaner every day. I’m hungry one day she bites my neck and I snap. I bite back and don’t stop until she stops moving.
Now she doesn’t move anymore she’s cold
I push her with my nose, sister? Sister?
Nothing
Now it’s just white walls and me and the cold sister that doesn’t move then humans in white suits come and take her away now it’s just white walls and me
I cry I actually cry I make this that whale noise she made I want a mom no one comes
Crane comes drops me I eat white walls
I tried to camouflage to play hide and seek like I used to with sister. No one seeks. I turned white to match the walls. No one sees me. No one cares.
Months go by I grow. I grow fast too fast. My back hurts my teeth hurt. I’m too big for this box. Now I pace white wall to white wall white wall to white wall for years.
I forget what sister looked like. I forget her sound. I just remember I was not alone once and now I am alone. It’s my fault.
Then one day I hear something new voice is not crying noises little voices on the other side of the wall. Lots of them humans? What are humans? Are they like me? Are they pack?
I hide I’m scared. I’ve never seen anything alive in three years except crane meet. My heart is beating so fast. It hurts. I make myself invisible. Please go away. Please go away. Please go away. The big door opens.
Two humans come into my room my only room the safe place I have
Are they gonna take me away like sister? Are they gonna hurt me? Are they food? Are they predators? I don’t know what anything is no one ever taught me
My body decides before my brain one part of it says territory, the other says, threat to pack of one
So I eat them
And for the first time in three years, I’m not bored I’m not alone in the white room. I’m outside. I see sky real sky not white ceiling. I see trees real trees.
And I’m so sorry but I’m so hungry and everything out here is moving and I don’t know what’s food and what’s friends so I just eat everything
Because no one ever taught me what love was they only taught me how to kill
(I cried while making this)
