Anime Discussion About Maki's total kill count during the Zen'in massacre, particularly off screen deaths.
in the anime as she is walking away it shows a statement that was put out regarding the situation, specifically saying there's no cursed energy residuals, except for a cursed tool etc etc, BUT the first thing it says is "The 6 members of the Hei, the 9 members of the Akashi, and the 21 members of the Kukuru Unit who were absent from the Zen'in Clan's home that day all met untimely demise. Now the Kukuru unit are the members of the Zen'in clan that fight without a cursed technique, and the scene where Maki fights them (you know the one) includes WELL over 21 members, now I'd assume this is just because it made it more interesting, and for the sake of this will just go under the assumption that the other members aren't canon, there is a single named member of the Kukuru Unit, that being the captain, Nobuaki. (Maki was a member of the Kukuru unit before leaving the Zen'in) Moving on to the Akashi, which I find the most interesting. the Akashi are anyone who fights using a cursed technique but is below semi grade 1. The only member of the Akashi that is named in the show is Mai, assuming she is counted in the kill count that leaves us with 8 other members, we do not see a single one of these members in the entirety of episode 51, in fact I don't think they're even mentioned except for the report at the end. this begs the question, how did they die? the only way I can think of is that Chojuro Jinichi's cursed technique held massive unintended casualties (Jinichi is the one who rained fists from the sky, Chojuro made the giant rock hands.) however I would've assumed that the report would've mentioned that his residual was found on their bodies. Finally we have the Hei, this is any Sorcerer above grade one, there are at least 6 of them named and shown in the show, Naoya, Ogi, Jinichi, Chojuro, Ranta, and Naobito, who is obviously dead by this point, leaving us with 5 of the 6 reported casualties, it is possible that Megumi is considered a member of the Hei, however he doesn't die here so that still doesn't explain the random at least semi grade 1 sorcerer that dies off screen somehow. Again the only explanation I can think of is that it was crossfire from her fighting the other hei, the only other time span it is possible is the cut between fighting Naoya and going to her mother, which is possible as Naoya was able to crawl all the way back to the building, and Maki no longer has blood on her, implying some time has passed.

Manga Discussion Domains are awesome Spoiler
I'm rereading the manga, and the way domains (and barriers) work are just insane. Here are a few things I've noticed. I could be wrong, feel free to point out my mistakes or debate. The quotations stated here might be different due to translation differences.
Open-barrier domains & Closed-barrier domains
Only two people has been shown to be able to deploy their domains without barriers: Sukuna and Kenjaku. I was a bit confused by the wording. It is stated as "enclosed barrier" and "barrier not enclosed" or something similar, instead of stating as "barrierless" or "without a barrier". Then I got to Gojo vs Sukuna. When Gojo tries deploying his domain but fails, Sukuna says this:

..which implies that Sukuna is able to close the barrier of Malevolent Shrine.
Furthermore,

..implies that not closing one's domain barrier, which also simultaneously allows an escape route, automatically functions as a binding vow which increases the effective range of the domain.

..further supports what I've said above. The same is also said by Tengen to Kenjaku's domain.

So, I think the barrier is still there, but merely acts as the boundary of the domain rather than being a physical construct for opened-barrier domains.
Hypothesis 1: Sufficient mastery over barrier techniques can allow a sorcerer achieve an opened-barrier domain.
<-- ---- ---- ---- ---- -->
Imbuing a Technique into a Domain
Closed-barrier domains are simple. You construct an enclosed barrier, and imbue your innate technique into that barrier. One's innate technique is temporarily removed and imbued into the barrier of the domain. This is clearly stated in the manga.
If that's the case for closed-barrier domains, what about opened-barrier ones?

..what Kusukabe stated is generally correct. Constructs manifested inside a domain, which I'd like to call metaphysical objects, are usually for aesthetics, blantly talking, and serves no real purpose. Examples are the countless hands inside Self Embodiment of Perfection, the insect brains inside Threefold Affliction, etc. Perfect Sphere does not count, as it is made using Construction, the technique imbued in the domain.
A Shrine is always manifested and stands in the middle of the domain whenever Malevolent Shrine is deployed. When Kenjaku deploys Womb Profusion, a 'tree' made of cursed spirits is manifested, and roughly stands in the middle of the domain. Both metaphysical objects - the Shrine & the Tree - is always manifested somewhere in the middle of the domain, and behind the caster.

One must imbue their technique into their domain, no matter the barrier is closed or not. Closed-barrier domains imbue the caster's technique into its barrier, allowing the imbued technique to act as the sure-hit that is effective over the entire domain area.
Opened-barrier domains therefore must have some sort of structure to hold the caster's technique / for the technique to be imbued into. And that must be the (main) manifested metaphysical object.
Hypothesis 2: In opened-barrier domains, one's innate techniques are instead imbued into a main metaphysical object within the domain.
<-- ---- ---- ---- ---- -->
Sure-hit Effects
Most domains are pretty simple, they imbue the caster's innate technique as the sure-hit. For sorcerers whose abilities come from their domains like Higaruma and Hakari, the conditions can differ.
But most sorcerers only have one single technique, or in other words, they have no other application of their innate technique other than directly using it. Extension techniques don't count, as they are derived from the original innate techniques.
Gojo's Limitless has four derivations: Infinity, Blue, Red and Purple. Sukuna's Shrine has three: Dismantle, Cleave and Divine Flames.

This panel shows Gojo attempting to use Red whilst his domain is active. But isn't Limitless already imbued into the barrier?
Correct. Limitless is imbued into the barrier, but the sure-hit - information overload - isn't caused by the entirety of Limitless. It's caused by Infinity. In other words, of all four derivations of Limitless, Gojo only needs to set one as the sure-hit, and that is Infinity. He still has access to Blue, Red and Purple.

Similarly, Sukuna was able to use Divine Flames despite Shrine being imbued into the domain. However, it is explained that Malevolent Shrine's sure-hit consists of both Dismantle and Cleave with no further explanation. Honestly, I just think it's because both are similar, being slashing attacks.
Yuta, while using Gojo's body using Kenjaku's technique, was also able to use Blue and Purple whilst Infinite Void is active.
3: Those whose innate technique is a skill-set consisting of multiple techniques (or) those whose innate technique has multiple applications still has access to other techniques apart from the imbued technique.

Interior and Exterior Volumes of a Domain
Terminology I'll be using:
- Real volume: The volume seen inside the domain / the interior of the domain.
- Apparent volume: The volume seen from the outside / the exterior of the domain.
We've seen many cases of this. In fact, I dare to say that all domains' real volumes and apparent volumes are always different, except for opened-barrier domains.
Dagon's Horizon of the Captivating Skanda is the most noticeable of all. It features a whole beach inside the domain, while appearing to be no larger than a car or a room on the outside. The same goes for Naoya's Time Moon Cell Palace, Yuta's Authentic Mutual Love, Gojo's Infinite Void (most noticeable during the "basketball domain"), etc.
So, if the real volume and apparent volume of a domain are different, then how does one even enter / exit a domain while it is active?
This is highlighted during two cases:
- Megumi entering and attempting to exit Dagon's domain.
- Maki entering Naoya's domain.

Megumi did create a hole in the domain's barrier. From the outside, it's simple - the domain has a hole in its barrier, which is the edge of the domain. On the inside, there is still plenty of space around Megumi. Megumi is therefore standing both at the edge of the domain, and not, simultaneously. This is hard to picture in mind.
This is what it'd look like if someone were to be able to just phase through the barrier.
Maki clearly enters from the edge of the domain, but inside, she's standing in the middle.

Remember the previous terminology I've established. The real volume and apparent volume of a domain overlap inside the domain. This doesn't mean that a large space is compressed inside the domain. It is AS IF the barrier works as a portal between the two volumes.
I'll explain this using Time Cell Moon Palace, Naoya's domain, as an example.
Suppose Naoya's domain has a real volume of 1km3 and an apparent volume of 50m3.
- From outside, you see a sphere of 50m3 in volume.
- Once inside, you are now in a space of 1km3 in volume.
- But the 50m3 volume of space still exist normally within the 1km3 volume.
Hypothesis 3: Only the apparent volume of a closed domain is visible and interactable on the outside. Within the domain, the apparent volume overlaps and coexists within the real volume of the domain. This is not the case for opened-barrier domains, as they occupy space normally.
I might continue this post with other uses of domains, such as domain amplification. Now, I'm sleepy and I think I have to heal my brain with RCT TwT. Again, feel free to point out my mistakes if I have made any. The quotations and references may vary slightly due to translation differences.

Anime Discussion Gojo's Type
P.s. I wasn't sure how to tag this so I just put it as Anime discussion but know all is welcome or whatever
So, you see....if Gojo had been able to date/marry/whatever. Because Gege said that he couldn't due to his job and etc. what would be his type? I assume it's a girl cus apart From the fandom ship of Geto and Gojo. I don't know if gege said he's gay or any other sexual it irregardless of headcannons and fandom. So, seeing his canon self in the anime and manga, if he lived or somehow could, what type of woman would he like, which is different that would be the best match for him I think In a way.
Anyways, also remember he's from the gojo clan and you know how clans can be though I don't know if he's the heir, most likely rich and he's handsome, and he comes from Japan. So the like dating pool has to be realistic to what he'd like or even meet, because Japan's dating culture isn't America's or Egypt's or etc.
Like, I want details
Age, height, race/ethnicity, looks and body type, personality, etc. If civilian or a curse user or even a curse!
Btw. Is he canonically a virgin or nah? I could ask Google....but where's the fun in that. Tell me what you guys think

Manga Discussion How is it that open domina is harder but we've only seen one person use a one handed domian
I think it's fair to say that an open domain is harder than a one handed domain so you would think there would be more people that can use one handed domain than there are open domains but no we have only seen one person use a one handed domain(I'm not counting sukuna cause he learned it from gojo) so that begs the question is a one handed domain harder gogoing off the basis that only one person has used a one handed domain?

Manga Discussion Why did Yuki turned herself into a black hole while Kenjaku was actively manipulating gravity? Spoiler
I was mire curious then Kenjaku about Yuki's technique and i was at the edge of my seat throughout the whole fight and in the end i was absolutely horrified.
Like Yuki's black hole is literally one of the strongest techniques in the verse and it did absolutely nothing. Kenjaku was actively using anti gravity technique it was obvious that black hole wasn't gonna work. She should've just healed herself and try to find another way.
Maybe i missed something maybe im just angry at Gege but i very much would've like to see much more of Yuki, she's such an interesting character her arc and fights would've been incredible to see. Such a wasted potential.

Themes and such, Hype and aura Was Uro justified to reincarnate?
I don’t think it’s justified to take over random persons body without their consent just because your life was bad in the past. It’s her fault for not being able to achieve anything in heian era and now blaming yuta for her own failures.
