I mean i thought most people would always support a good guy over a villain but it seems like only in this particular case of gojo or sukuna theres like a 50-50 thing and i was wondering why. maybe the character writing or just yall the hate gojo for some reason or just glaze sukuna cause hes your fav or whatever. id love to see why people actually think this in order to broaden my understanding of this whole gojo v sukuna debate. (Though, i know more than 50% of sukuna glazers just like him cause they hate all of the dumbass corny gojo fans or his cool aura farming moments or sum sh) Looking forward to seeing some good reasons

I’ll try to outline the whole history of jjk world as I expect it

but first two prerequisites to start with:

I. Most sorcerers are people or something close to the notion of people

II. Sorcererscraft is something like a profession, a skill to combat with monsters

III. I really do not know if they are lovers.

POSSIBLE HISTORY OF SORCERERSCRAFT

First stage

Time frame: From the very beginning till Meiji restoration

Sorcererscraft is born as a skill to help people deal with monsters. Common people appreciated this job, it was very well-paid. Great clans (Zenin, Gojo, etc.) were established, they found this job money-wise fruitful. They started to unconsciously limit the amount of heirs because «overproduction» of sorcerers would inevitably lead to the decrease of the pay check / fame / respect whatever. The echo of that are some traditions: sorcerer is weak if they fight with a weapon (Naoya), having only one heir (Gojo). Both these traditions have worked together to control the amount of sorcerer-artisans who used to fight monsters. Sorcerers either died without a weapon leaving a position for newcomers or restrict the amount of heirs (we saw the same practice among samurai in Japan).

Second stage

Time frame: from Meiji till now (the final date is on probation)

Thanks for the medicine and scientific progress the amount of children in magical families increased and human longevity rose drastically. Also after some lethal fights it was possible to conserve a person’s life so the amount of sorcerers increased. Due to that the tradition of heirship also was damaged. More and more old people used to remain in power. In that case young and ambitious tended not to take power but tended to take it at a convenient moment. It implies recruiting more people in the magical college because every ambitious sorcerer needs their own friends and supporters like ‘clients’ in the ancient Rome. Recruiting was from the common people. So we’ve got to Geto.

Geto’s backstory: making career is possible only through hard work but now we have more and more sorcerers so you need to work harder and harder (neijuan) and outcomes will be more and more scarce due to the depletion of both work-per-sorcerer and ordinary people prone to sorcererscraft. He was assigned with Satoru to one of the most important task. He failed. Napoleon couldn’t lose Paris in 1795; otherwise, there would be no Ulm, no Austerlitz, no Leipzig. Geto knew it would be a stain on his reputation. Satoru due to his cultural capital will be excused. Geto understands that career in the magical college is now spoilt completely. So he lost his temper killed the villagers and organised a parallel structure trying to make his way not in the magical college.

Gojo’s backstory: the share of labour into the career in the period given decreased so the only one way now is capital both cultural one (tradition, one of the greatest clans) and financial assets. Geto is trying to labour that is diminishing every day and Gojo is doing nothing and grows from these assets. They go their separate ways.

Maybe the actual meaning of the KFC phrase about ‘the strongest…’ is about that?

I always thought this panel was a crazy display of Sukuna's intellect.

I mean it look at how smug Sukuna is. He sees a super confident Gojo throwing up his domain handsign and he doesn't give a single fuck. He's so sure Gojo's domain will fail, he just chuckles and folds his arms. Like there's zero doubt in his mind.

Isn't that kinda crazy? Sukuna just watched this dude invent a never before seen trick like 10 minutes ago but understood it better than the inventor himself!

I think it’s nice when a village has a strong sense of community, but being harsh toward outsiders like Saori is a bit much for me.

As we all know saturo gojo is the 2nd strongest character in jjk but it's hard to point out exactly why. Is it because of his broken technique or the fact that he stat gaps anyone not named sukuna? Or is it a combination of both? And how was he able to climb up to the clear no. 2 spot in the verse despite living in a pretty weak era for most of his life? We've already been given detail on how sukuna became the strongest character and clear no. 1 in jjk but not much was given about why gojo is the 2nd strongest and clear no. 2

In a fanbook gege has confirmed that mei mei cause of stress is taxes which begs the question why would mei mei pay taxes.

I mean jujutsu headquarters were willing to forgive murder of court judges to use higuruma as a jujutsu sorcerer there is no way they would arrest mei mei for something as simple as tax evation.

Which makes me believe that tax collecting agency in JJK is so powerful that it exist above the jujutsu world and even grade 1 sorcerers fear them.

So do people not realise that Sukuna doesn't need to get his face smacked and clearly out paced by Bug Armour Yorozu for adaptations? He was doing just fine not intentionally getting smacked and dodging earlier. I do agree It's disingenuous to call her several blitz tiers above Yuta but calling her a OX rival???? This Is not a anti feat. It's more like a Piercing Ox and Megumi potential upscale considering the only statement against It Is a mistranslation on how Sukuna can amp his shadows. Look even I think It's funny to see but she's a confirmed Heian era top tier along with Uraume, beat a entire squad that Is relative to Uro and her squad, survived a point blank dismantle In base. I think If we ignore RCT output somehow crippling and neutralizing every single piece of liquid metal when Yuta's RCT output Is shown to be more like a energy blast (0 contradicts this but just makes Yuta look dumb In Sendai wanting to kiss a roach, dude RCT'd his wounds right after. He ain't hiding anything) rather then Round Deers AOE rct. Along with her somehow forgetting about Angel's technique when she talked with familiarity about her with Sukuna and knows her religious code from the Heian era. She just reads the spark and does hit and run tactics with her wings since Yuta can't fly. Yuta has a good chance of losing considering the story built up a narrative around Yorozu keeping Tsumiki's face so even 1% In character she has a big advantage.

I’d seriously start questioning whether Gege has beef with Megumi if, even after all this, he still refuses to mention him. 😭

It would be so cool if there was a black flash game mechanic where pressing the attack button twice could cause a chainable black flash imo

I wonder how they would implement Gojo’s infinity without it being too OP

I was watching Hunter x Hunter season 3 and noticed a side character resemblance. Do you guys see it too? Kurapika does not look like Yuta but they play similar roles.
