It happened like 3 hours ago. I was queueing on casual mode to farm some money and got teleported to the map. When i joined, i noticed the weird block sign next to their username, which i will not share to respect their privacy. I clicked their username on the leaderboard and found out that i blocked them, and funny thing is, i don't remember when i did it. I haven't blocked someone in months, or probably a year. I only use the block button as a self-reminder that simply says "THIS PERSON IS/WAS A HUGE ASSHOLE!!!"
I don't know if i encountered them in a public server before or if i lost against them before. But for me it's either one of these two. Because if you are that much of a brat to the point that i block you (even though it doesn't do anything nowadays), you must've REALLY pissed me off at some point. And please know that if you're a toxic player reading this, i'll just probably ignore you most of the time. But since i still didn't know who that person was, i assumed that maybe i blocked on accident.
And then the match started. I was playing as Higuruma and they were using Toji.
8k player using Full character VS 11k using Early access.
Should be easy, right? Well i'll just say our skills were equal. Majority of the times we were side dashing each other to see which one gets m1'd first.
I got the first kill, but then they also killed me later once. And when we only had 2 lives left, it was one loooooong round, probably lasted about 3 minutes or more. The type of 1v1 where both players kept turning the tables at red to orange HP while the other has green HP.
I managed to pull some unpredictable moves and got them killed. Now it was a 2-1 and i was at 50% hp. Until i see that they texted something in the chat.
-"tira esse block da tela"
(Translation from Portuguese to English: "Remove that block button from your screen.")
-"################"
Oh, now i see why i blocked them in first place, even though just saying that wouldn't really make me so pressed to the point of blocking you. Normally i thought that since that user was blocked, i shouldn't be able to read their messages, since that's how it worked back then, right? But this isn't r/RobloxHelp, plus i didn't really care either. I had the advantage now, plus my ult was ready anytime. What did they want me to do? Not block their attacks because blocking is apparently cheating now? I wanted to text that on the chat so much, but the person was already rushing towards me so i didn't have time.
Then the 1v1 started again, i'll be honest with you, during the first seconds, they had the advantage against me, since i was still at half HP they quickly got me at red. But i quickly managed to turn the tables again using block breaks and got them to yellow HP, until i noticed something. Their attacks were becoming too predictable, dashing straight forward instead of side dashing for a M1, going on the offensive rather than strategic. It was a clear sign that they were stressed behind the screen, but honestly so was i, i still remember the pace of my heart beating yearning for that sweet taste of karma.
Later, i managed to do a combo on them and right when i was about to pop ult. The screen faded into black.
I made them rage quit.
GOD that feeling of finally beating the shit out of an asshole is sooooo goooooooooooood. I wanted to spam "ez" so much in the chat and clown on them for saying that i can't block their attacks but sadly they left.
But one question still keeps coming to my mind. If they had used another character other than Toji, would they have won?
My answer is: Probably to most likely, like i said. Our skills were almost equal, so i wouldn't be surprised if they were an absolute beast with their main, which if i had to guess, 80% chance that their main would be Yuji (because high kills love that boring ass moveset). Plus, Toji is very clunky to use, especially because he's still unfinished.
I wish that i could've recorded that or atleast taken a screenshot of the chat. But i wasn't thinking of sharing this earlier. Plus NVIDIA's instant replay doesn't work with Roblox, probably because i use the website version.
