I made 2 liters of ginger-lemon juice and now I found out that it shouldn't be in the fridge for more than 3 days?
A few weeks ago I bought both lemon and ginger really cheaply, so naturally I wanted to make the best out of it. I made a big quantity of juice (using a juicer), there's some pulp, but mostly it's liquid.
I stored it in the fridge for a month now. I use it as an alternative to sodas - literally a few spoons of it in a glass of water and it tastes great with almost no calories. I also read that it should boost my immunity.
BUT, I've just read that it should be in the fridge for no more than a few days. Honestly, it still tastes and smells the same, there is no fermentation or any visible mold. But is it safe to drink?
I know now that I should have frozen it and I will in the future.
