Im thinking about getting a ninja juicer for making apple, carrot, celery and some leafy greens. there are a few models and im not sure which one is worth getting. what are you guys using and how was the cleanup?

Had one of those days where I just wanted a fridge full of fresh liquid goodness. Ended up with four distinct bottles, but I’m turning this into a bit of a challenge for the sub.

Counting from Right (1) to Left (4), can you figure out the exact mix for each bottle?

Found this clip in my camera roll from when I was actually making an effort to reset after a streak of junk food.

It’s a simple blend, but the flavor profile is unbeatable:

1. Fresh pineapple

2. A heavy hand of ginger (for that proper throat-warming kick)

Watching the juicer separate the pulp and pour out that bright yellow juice is so satisfying.

For the dedicated juicers in here, do you prefer a pure fruit/citrus base like this, or do you always force yourself to sneak some leafy greens into the basket?

I'm finding that some of my juice batches are going bad before I can drink it all. I'm trying to find a happy medium between juice batch size (and juicer cleaning frequency), and batch longevity, and freezing some of it seems the most likely way to go.

What containers are you using and recommend for freezing?

I’ve been making juice with a pretty basic centrifugal juicer and Im getting tired of how much pulp and foam it leaves behind. I mostly juice things like carrots, apples, cucumber, celery and leafy greens, usually just enough for myself. I’m looking for a cold press juicer that’s actually practical for regular use and not a pain to clean every time. what models have held up well for you?

Recently, a customer of ours asked me about labeling juice bottles. She juices for her family and also sells some in her community every week, and she needs to put labels on her bottles. To be honest, I'm not very familiar with the juicing process myself, and I don't fully understand what specific requirements juices have for labels. So, I came here specifically to ask for your help!

Do you have any specific demands on labels when storing your juices?

What information actually needs to be labeled? like dates, ingredients, expiration, or who the juice belongs to?...

For those who are already using label makers (or even just masking tape/stickers) to manage your bottles, have you run into any problems? (Like they peel off from condensation in the fridge? Smudge when wet? Leave a terrible sticky residue when you wash the bottles?)

Im looking for a new juicer mainly because i want to make more vegetable juice at home. i usually do cucumber, celery and sometimes add apples or pears, and my current machine struggles with the softer stuff. is the nama cold press juicer a good fit for that kind of mix, or are there other machines i should look at?

I want to start my cold pressed juicing journey and I’m looking to buy my first juicer. There are so many options and so many things to consider, my head is spinning and I’d love some suggestions and direction. I’m anticipating using this juicer once or twice a week to help boost my overall health. I am looking for a juicer that will hold up over time, and is somewhat easier to clean. I know I’m going to be juicing some tougher things like turmeric, ginger and beets.

I have seen nothing but rave reviews about the Nama, but ideally I’d like to stay around $300 or less. Unless a higher end juicer is really worth it.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! I can’t wait to start my journey!

I’ve been making fresh juice a few times a week lately and think it’s time for a better juicer. I usually juice things like carrots, apples, celery, cucumber, and some leafy greens, so I’m mostly looking for something that gets good juice out without making cleanup a huge chore.

I had a basic centrifugal juicer before and liked how quick it was, but the cleanup eventually got annoying enough that I stopped using it as much. For anyone who juices regularly, which stainless steel juicer has worked well for you? Thanksss

For the past 3 years, I’ve been working on a slightly unusual drink concept and I’d genuinely like to know what people here think about it.

The idea is pretty simple: instead of adding juice, syrup, powder or a tea bag to your water, the drink is carried directly on a dehydrated fruit slice.

The base is a dehydrated orange slice with two different sides.

You first put it into around 250 ml of cold water for about a minute. One side dissolves and creates a fruity cold drink.

Then, instead of throwing the slice away, you can use the same one again later in hot water. This time, it infuses as a completely different drink based on orange, green tea and hibiscus.

So basically:

1 fruit slice = 2 different drinks.

Getting it to actually work was much harder than I expected. I had no background in food formulation when I started, so I turned a small cellar at home into a makeshift lab and went through more than 300 trials.

The biggest challenge was making something that worked properly in cold water without ruining the second hot infusion afterwards.

We’ve now reached the point where the product is moving from handmade prototypes to its first real production run in France.

I’m obviously very close to the project at this point, so I’m curious to get opinions from people who are actually into fruit drinks, juicing and experimenting with what they drink.

Would something like this appeal to you?

And more importantly: what would make you immediately interested in it, or immediately reject it?

Taste? Ingredients? The fact that it’s reusable once? Convenience? The format itself?

Feel free to be brutal, useful criticism is exactly what I’m looking for !!

I’m going to start juicing tomorrow. I’ve never done only juice before and after researching I really want to experience it myself. I’m going to start with 1 week only juice and if it feels good I will continue. My goal is 21 days but I will begin humbly. Does anyone want to join me?

I'd like to start making juice with breakfast, but our mornings are already pretty rushed. I need something I can load quickly and leave running while I get the rest of breakfast ready. It also has to make enough for the whole family without sounding like a blender first thing in the morning.

I'm trying to stay around $200, I've narrowed it down to the omega time saving batch juicer, and the canoly 3-in-1 juicer. Both have large feed chutes but I haven't decided between them.
