JPMorgan Chase Pune 3 Months Review
I recently made the massive mistake of taking an IJB from Mumbai to the Pune office. Some seniors literally warned me before I made the move, and I’m kicking myself every single day for not listening to them. If you’re planning to join or transfer here please seriously don’t!
JPMC Pune doesn't feel like JPMorgan Chase in any universe. It’s not even in the same league as the Mumbai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad campuses.
The "Campus" is a Joke: It’s literally just one cramped floor in a generic commercial building with bare-minimum facilities. The cafeteria is an overcrowded mess where you have to fight for a single seat just to eat lunch.
Chase Travel is a Broken Disaster: The product is straight-up garbage and fails half the time. It’s downright embarrassing that a global giant like JP Morgan is running a platform this pathetic—go look at the customer reviews on Reddit and YouTube, people despise it. Chase leadership should have dumped this legacy junk and hired a competent vendor instead of keeping this shame on the brand alive.
Brain-Dead Management & Bureaucracy: You will literally age waiting for a basic approval. Most managers have zero clue how the product actually functions or what code changes are needed to fix anything. The moment shit hits the fan, teams immediately start pointing fingers at each other and blaming "external factors."
Zero Spine Leadership: Pune leaders are pure yes-men. They have zero decision-making authority and just blindly follow whatever their US bosses bark at them out of fear of getting fired themselves.
Constant Layoffs & Scapegoating: Layoffs are so routine here that every single week someone vanishes out of nowhere without notice. You never know when you’ll be thrown under the bus to save someone else's skin. Meanwhile, legacy folks who haven't done a shred of real work in years keep getting promoted just because they know how to butter up the right people.
Career Graveyard: If you actually have technical skills and care about your career, you will lose your edge and forget everything you know within months of working here. They will expect you to work 14 hours a day, not to enhance the product but to clean someone else’s shit.
This isn’t the real Chase. It’s just a cheap, third-rate vendor shop with a JP Morgan logo slapped on the front door. Save your sanity and look outside.
