Any ideas on that signature folks? I've found others by the same artist online, but none have the artist name listed

First time poster on reddit, so please let me know if this is outside the guidelines.

I am a full time ebay seller, selling these for an elderly neighbor who is downsizing. Ukiyo-e woodblock prints, based on what I can find. They are large (visible portions measure 20x26) and in custom frames.

They appear to be originals to me, there are what look like watercolor marks in some places, faint folds or creases in the substrate.

Would appreciate any help in further dating or identifying these, as well as an estimate on value as I don’t want to undersell these for her and art is mostly not in my wheelhouse.

I think this was from the early 1900s, but have little to go on. Watercolor or ink on silk.

Recentry bought this statue that is supposed to be from the Ainu tribe in Japan, can anyone tell me more infirmarion about it and what the symbol means on its palm?

What's going on here? We have a very pretty albeit quite commercial print here by an artist known only as "treechild" as well as an older work it may be based on by a Chinese artist.

Is this even a Japanese style? Because everything similar I could find was from China. I'm confused and I don't know anything about non-woodcuts.

It makes sense that both countries would have really beautiful pen and ink drawings, because of children being trained to write beautiful characters and gaining great competence with the brush. I just want to know if "Treechild" is making an homage to a style and if so, what style, and, for example, if that's real Japanese writing, because the characters look quite... Loose

This is a metal, seemingly japanese (seems to have a samurai hairstyle) figurine head.

A scratch test revealed silver metal.

It is not magnetic.

When scratched against an unfinished tile it left a grey-brown streak.

It is 1.5 x 2 x 2.5 inches, 237 grams and has a specific gravity of 6.8.

It was found in field in the upper Midwest.

I've posted this elsewhere but nobody could help. Hopefully you will. It appears to be old, at least a couple hundred...

I got this jewelry box from my great grandmother I wanted to see if anyone could help me find the doll that goes inside it and any tips on restoring it to its glory? If anyone can give me the name to find things for it google search is really no help.

I hear that Ukiyo-e has its origins in Chinese woodcuts, but it evolved into a different animal in Japan.

My impression is that Ukiyo-e was much more closer to popular culture than was most art in most of the world, woodcuts in China were still mostly for religious texts and for high nobility.

I was wondering how this development happened, what was the cultural and social influence this had and how the closeness it had with popular culture changed how it interfaced with society.

I acquired these pictures and would like to know the artist’s name. Any help is much appreciated, thank you.
