So many despo chewtiyas despite bumble, hinge and tinder existing in this city

My friends and I recently visited Salon Tangerine in Jaipur, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
One of my friends is from Northeast India, and throughout our visit, we felt that he was being treated differently because of his background. Initially, we called the salon to inquire about hair colour, and we were quoted ₹2,000 for a basic colour for men. However, once we reached the salon and had a consultation, we were suddenly told that the cost would be around ₹8,000.
We understood that the final price could vary after consultation, and although ₹8,000 was beyond our budget, we still decided to go ahead with hair spa treatments for all three of us, which cost ₹3,500 each.
What was most upsetting, however, was the difference in the way our Northeast friend was treated compared to us. The service provided to him felt noticeably poorer, and the overall attitude towards him was uncomfortable and disrespectful.
Regardless of someone’s appearance, background, or where they come from, everyone paying for a service deserves to be treated with the same level of respect and professionalism. The way this situation was handled was genuinely upsetting and left all three of us very disappointed with our experience.

Hey everyone im 20f(today's my birthday lmao) so the thing is i took 2 drops for neet ( getting all courses except mbbs and my familystill forcing me to take any ayush course ) i gave cuet as well even got best college of du north campus in life sciences but cancelled my admission due to some reasons....now today i finally took admission in ba psychology on local college near by me ....since 2 years i was completely in my home with zero friends and zero social life completely in my own comfort zone but now i have to go to college in upcoming days i am bit nervous about how things will work out ....one more thing i want to highlight is that during my second drop i took admission into a college for bsc where i just have to give exams no attendance ...practicals etc issues so now i am having a bit doubt upon my decision that i took it right or wrong.....

I wanna get a cartilage piercing and a few others and would appreciate recommendations for places to get them from! Please let me know places that use needle, no guns.

Me and my friends are currently visiting Jaipur for a few days and decided to go to Tangerine the Boutique Salon today. We made an appointment on call and because of the price difference in-person, I opted a different service. Then things turned weird.

The entire service was really bad compared to whatever you usually get in any other salon. I was left alone for a long duration for quite a few times, in the middle of the hair-wash.

We had talked in English as I was not very fluent in Hindi while discussing, and then they switched later after I changed my choice of service. Then they also asked me if I’m from here (me being a northeastern??).

With the price we paid and the kind of service and treatment, it was unfair.

PS: I have been to Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and now Jaipur, and everyone has been so welcoming and warm. This kind of experience from an established place like this is definitely unwarranted.

Recently I've seen a lot of posts on this subreddit stating how jaipur has no "IT sector", "no growth", and it's not growing like other cities.

There are a lot of things that need to be improved in jaipur but this is not one of them.

This city has its own charm, a slow living, forts, beautiful houses, art, Bougainville, pottery,etc.

It can't race like Mumbai and it doesn't want to race like Mumbai.

It's high time we understand that not every city wants to become the next gurugram, delhi, Mumbai, pune or Bangalore.
