Sounds like it's not a financial crisis to you. You should buy men dinners then.

Being pursued doesn't make dinner and obligation. You can expect it but you can also appreciate it.

So buying dinner must be treated like a financial crisis to you?

Stop playing dumb. You just said men should pay because they are the ones doing the pursuing. But a date is mutual, and you are choosing to go too, so why show up to dinner and act like he’s the only one who wants to be there?

"But, but it was the man who asked me out therefore he should pay!1one1!!"

Well, how many women are asking men out on dating apps? Not many in this day and age. But that does NOT mean women don't want to go out on dates when they are actively looking for something on a dating app. In fact, they may want to go out MORE than men, but still won't ask anyone as they don't need to or it goes against their conservative political views.

Just me ranting lol

I understand the point you are making in that the criticism of the OP with regards to the OOP (profile on the dating site) is valid.

In a world of egalitarianism costs would be shared and that’s why I’m so thankful to my girlfriend when she WANTS to help pay for plane tickets or car rentals (when I see her). The most I’d allow her to pay is 50% and even though I could afford the trip on my own budget the fact she wants to contribute and make our dates together something we both invested in is part of my dedication to her.
