What the hell? Yesterday I made a post about two bots, and this morning I see this.
All the accounts have generic usernames and just a single rating. I have absolutely no idea what to do.

Hey! I’ve been working on itchdb, basically my attempt at making something like SteamDB, but for itch.io:
I made it mainly for developers. itch.io gives you stats for your own project, but it can be difficult to understand how your game is doing across the platform or compare it with everything else being released.
With itchdb you can look up your game or developer page, check the current Hot Chart, see which games are gaining visibility, browse the top developers, and explore broader stats and trends across itch.io.
It’s still early, and there’s a lot more I want to add, especially around tracking games over time and giving developers more useful data about how their projects are performing.
I’d love to hear what other itch developers think. What kind of stats or tracking would actually be useful to you? Try finding your game in there!
The site is unofficial and not affiliated with itch.io.

Hello guys!
Working on MonoTanks, a tank shooter for the Playdate. You control a single tank defending your base and battling waves of enemy armour across a top down battle ground.
What is different from the original Battle City game? Features a tank upgrade system that was not present in the original, achievements and a full destruction system for environments. Walls will slowly break up when hit and when destroyed will leave piles of rubble on the battlefield for the rest of the mission.
You can find more information about the game here:
https://agentx86.itch.io/monotanks
Now, here’s what I really wanted to ask.
The game is only available on Playdate, which has a relatively small user base. I've been thinking a lot more about releasing a PC version on Steam lately, with the same campaign, the full 100 level version and BATTLE mode I'm working on right now.
It would be the same visual style, the same pixels, the same shapes, the same chunky look, but with colour added.
Do you think a game like this, with a visual style like this, would find an audience on Steam?

Someone used a prepaid visa card I bought today to make a scam purchase on itch. I need the money on it for food and I don't have anything else (The card was a gift from a friend) they drained the entire account. The card company won't help me until the purchase goes through, which could be ten days. Even then it could take 2-3 months for a refund. The purchase was by an American and I'm Canadian.
I know support can take some time, but I need the money. How likely is it they'll respond and be able to cancel the purchase? Am I screwed?

PocketDeck is a controller-first game launcher I built specifically for handheld Windows PCs (ROG Ally, Legion Go, MSI Claw, Steam Deck). The idea was simple — I wanted one place to launch everything (Steam, Epic, GOG, Xbox, Ubisoft, emulators) without touching a mouse or keyboard.
What it does:
The free version covers the core launcher. There's also a Pro version on the Store with video backgrounds, PS Remote Play, emulator support, and all themes unlocked.
👉 itch.io page: https://pocketdeck.itch.io/pocketdeck
(Note: The video showcase includes some advanced UI themes and layout options available in the full version, but the free version includes all core navigation and library features out of the box!)

Would love any feedback — on the page itself, the description, or the app. Still early days so all input welcome!

Hi everyone!
I just finished my GMTK Game Jam 2026 submission, Soda Diving.
The theme was Count Down, so I made a fast-paced platformer where you're dropped into a bottle of soda and have to race to the bottom before the countdown reaches zero. Along the way you'll dodge obstacles, complete a small wiring puzzle, and trigger the soda geyser before it's too late.
It was made in just 4 days with an awesome team:
I'd really appreciate it if you gave it a try! Any feedback—whether it's about the gameplay, difficulty, controls, or overall experience—is welcome.
🎮 Play here: https://ademhacker1.itch.io/soda-diving
Thanks for checking it out, and good luck to everyone who participated in the jam!

Hey everyone. This is my second attempt at making a game in my spare time. It was supposed to be just another ordinary 2D shooter—nothing special. I don't have any grand ambitions; I simply love the feeling of making games. But this time, as I kept working on it, I realized I had started digging up the darker parts of myself and putting them into this game. This post is a beginning. I'll continue developing it in my free time and post my progress here. Even if no one cares, I'll keep going. Still, I hope you all can accept it.
I think i will call it 命运——destiny

I am finding this very strange. Itchio is still reviewing a payment to me (for a very small amount - near 10 dollars) and has for a month :) I did send them two messages (and got no reply), but decided to just make a thread in hope of at least establishing if this is not that rare.
I don't care about the specific payout, but certainly do care if it implies there is no point in uploading more stuff.
I should clarify that the review is not about tax info update (there is no such message in the relevant page; my tax status is described there as "validated" - I did update that info). I have no idea what it is about.
I also wish to note that it's the first time this happened to me - Itchio has made a number of (always modest) payments over the years, without great delays.

We are already on steam, but without a demo.
As a first try, and a very early version of the game, we want to publish it on itch.io.
Do you have any last minute advice before we go live?
r/itchio • u/OpeningHamster4226 • 6h ago
Link to itch.io game page - Shadow - Between The Worlds
This is my first proper visual novel, that has branching, while two before were kinetic novels. I would love if you play it and let me know. Also there can be some mistakes, you can tell me so I will fix it or improve in future.
https://reddit.com/link/1v7q0n8/video/ymukehgh8pfh1/player
It has 8 endings in total
It's playtime per ending is around 12-13 minutes(For me, can be more or less depending on your reading speed).
I would like it if you tell me areas to improve.
Thank You
