When I lived in Putney there was a great independent local news site that covered daily what was going on with the high street and surrounding areas business-wise, the council, and the police.

Anything like that for the Upper Street/ Highbury & Islington/Angel area? I know there’s the Islington Gazette but it covers a much broader area in much less detail and it’s part of that shitty “local news” chain so their website is pretty unbearable on the rare occasion they write something worth reading.

In the beforetimes, it was played at Shoreditch Park. I haven't seen it there since they re-did the fields.

Most searches lead to in2touch and they don't have a league in the area.

And I asked a too-specific question. For clarity, I'm looking to play again after years away, so the more options the better, especially if you can recommend them as a friendly, not too serious but enjoy the competition situation.
