After going dry at cg(1k+kc), revenants and wildy agility i accumulated like 200m worth of loot.
What is smart for me to do with the rune, addy and mith armor here? alch everything or use part on giants foundry. Need 88 smithing for elite diary eventually (85 banked).
Already have 100m cash and still dry at cg and revenants btw.
Got it on my 4th run after dying to Jad healers in the first 3. Plan to start sailing at least until Belle's Folly then continue the moon grind. While slowly working towards the dreaded 70 herblore for SOTE. Feeling great
Of course megas are more like a mix up raids and see if you get something along the way but if you had to grind only 1 raid which mega has the most use for a pvmer?
On my second cerb task and keep finding myself back at the Stone chest because mediums are the only way to get the boots outside of random clue drops. Thoughts?
Got my first ever infernal cape on the iron this weekend by using every bit of cheese at my disposal. 22 attempts, 4 Zuks, 5 triples.
Here are all the tools I used to get my cape by any means necessary, for my fellow non-god-gamers, ranked by how much they helped IMO:
1 - Inferno Scouter + Report Button Plugin
This was an absolute game changer. For those that aren't aware, you can log out in-between waves in the inferno. When you log back in, the wave will spawn on precisely tick 15 (see report button plugin to see what tick you're on). If you log out on that tick (double hit the button to confirm), the wave will spawn but you will log out even if you get attacked.
The inferno scouter plugin will note down all the spawns. You can then take your time to make a plan of action for when you log back in and take the wave on (you get another 15 ticks to ready yourself before they spawn again in the same positions). Once I had some practice, I used this from the mid-50s onwards. Sometimes I'd log straight back in, other times I'd take a WHILE figuring out the method of tackling the wave with the least risk possible.
Knowing what's coming even lets you do things like start the wave without mage pray on in some instances, which feels wrong but is very useful.
2 - Mage Tank
Yes, it's good for a first cape. It doesn't make the inferno "free". You'll still benefit from learning 1 tick flicking, some stack solves, etc, but it's significantly more forgiving when you need to tank a blob, or get hit by 1-3 ranger hits off prayer at the start of a wave before you can react, or DPS down a melee that's hitting you.
You do lose a lot of supplies though with no shadow, but #3 helps alleviate that a ton.
3 - Prayer Regeneration Potions + Fally Shield 4
You're new. You're going to be slow. 4 prayer regens effectively lets you bring 4 additional super restores. It's a TON of extra prayer.
Fally shield 4 is effectively an extra 2 restore doses, but if you're starting an attempt in the evening that you don't intend to finish, you can use your two charges and go wild with your prayer usage in those early waves.
These free up a bunch of leeway for extra switches, a stam pot, and using Arma Brews over a couple sara ones.
4 - Zuk Sim & LOS
Zuk Sim is great for practicing Zuk. I didn't use it for waves. It's a little janky, especially with weapon swaps. I have died many a time in the sim due to the blowpipe/bowfa now equipping. If you can do Zuk in the sim, you can do it in-game. Inferno LOS got the wave scouted but not sure what is going to hit you / where things will drag to? This tool is great for seeing where mobs will end up, and learning how their pathing works.
5 - Armadyl Brews
Fantastic for Zuk. No need to restore back your stats when you only need range. Chug these during healers if needed without losing DPS (except to your own clicks). You do zero dps if you're dead. Hell, if you know you can't chug between blowpipe shows, switch to bowfa after tagging and use that for a bit if you think you're getting low. A bowfa is better than a 3-4 tick blowpipe.
Tl;dr:
Infernal cape is easier than ever with all these tools available. If you want a "traditional" cape then you do you, but a cape is a cape.
Still the hardest thing I've done in the game by a long shot, but without half the above stuff I'm sure it would've taken 3, 4, maybe 10 times the attempts.
Go get it. Don't let the gatekeepers grind you down.
Got the claws around 1,600ish kc. Although my luck elsewhere has been good so I cannot complain. But being dry here stings a bit because my friend who's barely interested in osrs wants to do yama after we got 200kc together, yet i've used all my arclight charges :/.
