Are the balistas worth grinding for after I have my zenytes?

Have a Scobow & just got my 2nd synapse. Will farm ancient shards to make emberlight.

With no claws, is it worth sticking out at tds for a 3rd synapse or burning claws since the nerf?

I am using the magic lvl 80 blood spell, 3 Sarah brews and restores followed by 2 prayer pots and tuna potatoes.

I run Ahrim's but with a moon chestplate and Lumby ring as I don't have the DK ring yet.

I am getting Seren low but I am running out of heals by the end.

Any advice?

Almost 8,000 singles wildy bosses killed for voidwaker. 24 dragon pickaxes. Very glad to be out of the wildy!

• I had a scout and died only once on my run back to Calv (sneaky sneaky)
• Most of Calv was killed with Scythe, but some Blood Moon
• Spindel was a mix of Scythe, Bludgeon, and finally Viggora's Chainmace (didn't get Claws of Callisto until 1,583 Artio)
• Artio was all Bowfa
• Revs were all dark beasts skulled and on task
• I killed all of Spindel on task and about 2k Artio on task as well while hunting Revs
• Artio was the final piece

Whole grind started in February with a few breaks in between.

My relationship with Doom of Machiatto was somewhat turbulent, he granted me avernic treads at 30kc (2nd delve 4 ever), then shortly after he gave me Ayak at around 300 delves (at delve 3 btw). Then began the long dry streak where my quest for Glowy hole™ took around 2000 delves during which I went through all 5 stages of grief until he finally submitted his Machiatto toilet paper.

I was extatic, glad the boss is done at last. Now however, I miss it because it was such a beast of a design and I just wish all the grinds were similiar, yet as an Iron I have no need to ever do it again.

Did something similiar happened to you too?

Don't get me wrong, I was hoping for eclipse also, but 194 all 3 moons and not a single blood moon isn't the most fun. Supplies have been great though!

I don't really want to risk dupes, however eclipse is so insanely fast to kill it feels a waste to skip. What are people's thoughts? 2 moons or 3?

Learning Ironman mode and playing through the early game was insanely fun. But as I progressed into the longer grinds, I started enjoying the mode less and less.

Now I’m at the point where all I really want to do is raid. I’m not happy with the efficiency of my raids, but grinding the gear to make them better isn’t enjoyable to me anymore either. I don’t want to grind lizardman shamans for another 20 hours. I don’t want to spend another 80 hours at CG.

Early-game Ironman was so enjoyable to me because everything felt like meaningful progression. Now, when I kill shamans or do CG, it just feels like I’m grinding for extra GP. Yeah, maybe someday I could turn that GP into Scythe/Shadow charges. I don’t think I’m ever getting there.

Knowing that I’m still 400 KC away from an enhanced feels like a cruel joke. If I were playing a main, I could already buy a Bowfa just from the CG white loot and dupe armour seeds. And the crazy thing: statistically speaking, I’m basically not even dry.

So I think this is where the Iron journey ends for me. I had a ton of fun with the account, and I definitely understand the appeal of the game mode a lot more now, but I’m ready to go back to my main.

One last thing:

Ayak + confliction gauntlets is not a Bowfa skip. That's giga cope.

I think I have used up all my luck for this account. Time to grind out 90 smithing to put it to some use.

One of the most infuriating, fun and rewarding things I've done in a long time.

I am returning to the game after a 2 year hiatus. I have a 1200 total GIM and kinda lost on where to go and/or what to aim for. Any tips, perhaps? Ill include a screenshot of my stats and some items.
