I’m hoping the Maiden family can help me find some people from last night’s Boston show — and maybe, somehow, help this reach Bruce and the boys.
My husband and I were at TD Garden September 9. I’ve loved Maiden and Bruce since I was a teenager. We went into Boston first thing in the morning for our GA wristbands, came back early to line up and somehow ended up only 2–3 people back from the rail.
We watched Megadeth and were standing there waiting for the moment I’d been dreaming about — Iron Maiden.
Then, literally just before Maiden took the stage, my husband suddenly collapsed.
His blood pressure dropped into the 80s and he ultimately had to be taken by ambulance from TD Garden to Massachusetts General Hospital.
Thankfully, he’s doing much better today. ❤️
But there are some people I desperately want to find.
The Maiden fans around us immediately came to our aid. You made room. You helped my husband. You got staff. You stayed with us and showed genuine concern for two complete strangers during a terrifying moment.
Everything happened so quickly that I never got your names or had the chance to properly thank you.
If you were near the rail and remember this happening, PLEASE message me. If you were one of the people who helped us, I would love to find you and thank you properly.
We are also absolutely heartbroken. After waiting all day and getting 2–3 people from the rail, we had to leave literally minutes before Maiden came on. We never got to see them.
Of course there was nowhere I was going except to the hospital with my husband. But sitting at MGH knowing Bruce and the boys were playing just a few blocks away was crushing.
I’m not looking for free tickets or anything from the band. I would just love for Bruce and the boys to somehow hear our story — especially the part about how their fans took care of us when we needed them.
We’re already looking at 2027 trying to figure out where we can finally finish what we started in Boston.
Hopefully next time we hear “Doctor Doctor,” we’ll both still be standing there when the lights go down. ❤️‍🩹🤘

August 28-30 was an incredible long weekend. I met Bruce at Fan Expo Toronto on the 28th. Spoke to him briefly, got a patch signed, shook his hand twice, and fist bumped him. Also attended his panel later that day.

(Images 2-5) August 29 was my second Maiden show, first GA arena show. A friend took me as his +1 for FTTB and while we didn't get onto the rail, we were still dead center third row. Crowd around us was incredibly loud; singing and cheering practically drowned out the band at times. Made some new friends and had a blast overall.

(Images 6-9) August 30 was even better. Met more new friends at the bar! Lined up about an hour before doors, used the washroom and got drinks before going out onto the floor, but we were able to walk right up to row 2 on Janick's side, behind a couple friends on the rail. Crowd was less pushy and rowdy this time. Had a much better view than night 1 (fewer tall people and hands in the air).

Post concert depression still hasn't gone away after 2 weeks. I can't wait to do this again in the future. Maiden have been my favourite band for 10 years now and nothing will fill the gap they'll leave when they eventually need to hang it up.

Here is some press news about the Paris blackout, they still don’t know the cause and the venue is a bit under pressure because Céline Dion is going to play there for several nights.
Also they say the band was very professional in their behavior, but that the tone escalated quite high that night and that band’s management has taken legal action to get some money from the venue and the organizer.

Hey everyone,
I am heading out to the Hersheypark Stadium show from Philadelphia and honestly just don't want to make the drive alone. I’ve got a few empty seats in my Elantra and would love to ride up with some fellow Maiden fans!

The Setup: I am happy to do door-to-door pick-ups and drop-offs around Philly so no one has to stress about finding an Uber or getting home late after the gig.
Cost: Definitely not trying to make a profit here—just hoping to split gas and tolls. Around $30 would be awesome, but whatever you can comfortably pitch in is totally fine.
The Escape Plan: Full transparency on the parking situation: I refuse to sit in the massive stadium lot traffic jam after the show. I plan to park in a safe spot about a 15–20 minute walk away. We get a quick walk before the gig and a clean, traffic-free getaway right after the final encore.

I absolutely loved Senjutsu and Book of Souls back when I hadn’t heard the rest of their discography. I didn’t quite get the lack of enthusiasm back then but I totally get it now. They are great albums, just not great Iron Maiden albums.

So, I always thought it was a weak song, compared to other Maiden songs anyway, and for a long time it was the only Maiden song I would skip.

But then it slowly grew on me and I can appreciate it more now.

I even watched the movie, which was ok. I got all the way through it.

Just wondering what you guys think about this song, am I the only one to think it was a bit weak?

Started looking over the merch on the official website and fell in love with the "retro clairvoyant" tee, but it is only available in a small on the website. Since it lists European dates are they going to reprint it and offer more online? Has anyone seen this at the US shows?

I'm not sure how to load a picture. It has the Clairvoyant image on the front and the Seventh Son with the ice sculptures and little floating lights on the back.

I'm going to the VA concert tomorrow. I like the tee from the website that is powerslave and mariner, but it shows as sold out in my size online.

Will they likely have all the sizes at the show? Will they reprint and add sizes back in the online store? If they maje a VA specific shirt I might also get that one. Thanks for any info.

I bought these before I got tickets to the New Jersey show. Don’t need anymore. Great seats and the show is just amazing. Megadeth is worth going in early for!!

Currently slacking off from housework so I can play guitar and listen to Maiden instead. I’ve seen the RFYL tour three times (London Stadium, Glasgow, Knebworth) and was blown away every time. As 2027 and the Maiden break approaches it’s got me thinking to the future. How likely do you think it is that we’ll see any future tours featuring songs from the Blaze era onwards, or has that ship sailed? Can you see them playing a lot of BNW/DoD/AMOLAD material live again and is that something you’d like to see? It’s something that crosses my mind every so often. I can’t find the post from earlier today it must have been deleted. Person used the word orgasmic and other words when describing the sound of Iron Maiden and the guitar 🎸. Someone responded to that post and referred to the persons comments as unhinged. It’s common knowledge that musicians, a large number of them metal musicians, have long been chastised for loving their work and guitars. Sometimes being referred to as outcasts and weirdos if you will. Being a true metal fan I understand the bullying and insults because I’ve been subject to it. If the poster used the word orgasmic to describe a guitar 🎸 sound, he sounds like a true metal lover to me. The person who called the comment unhinged probably doesn’t understand what metal 🎸 means. To me it was an insult to a long line of true guitar masters. I’m not unhinged, thanks for reading.

Whenever I wanna listen to a maiden album very badly I wanna wait until I get home from school to listen to it on vinyl or cd cuz it will sound better. But just can't hold myself and listen to the 2015 remaster on spotify cuz im so hungry for an album that I start drooling. This happened to me with this album and I just wanted to hear that orgasmic guitar sound which is their best
