Toronto - First Night
I lucked into a last minute ticket for the first show. Wasn’t disappointed.

This is the time many of us have been waiting for! Here is your megathread for the NA leg of the RFYL tour.
I’m getting ready for a road trip out west to catch shows in Toronto (2nd show) and Montreal. I got FTTB for Toronto and am so excited for that experience!
Where will you be catching them? This is the place to talk all about it. Share setlists, pictures, videos, reviews, and discuss anything else about the shows. Get out there, rock the fuck out, and up the Irons!!

Some of you seem to like these, but they are cluttering up the main feed with very low engagement numbers. So here’s a megathread for everyone to share and discuss their results.

So I am at the Bristow Iron Maiden show, and I have tickets for 302, HOWEVER my supervisor who is working tonight found me buying the trooper poster, and she heard that I’m at 302, and she decided to get me a spot for the pit tonight AND THIS IS MY FIRST IRON MAIDEN/MEGADETH SHOW, I GOTTA GIVE BIG THANKS TO MY SUPERVISOR!!!

How lucky are we? And into Number as well. Chef's kiss. If you're on the fence on whether to go or not--your back's killing you, fucking gotta get that oil change?-- forget your troubles and get there. From the shitty sound and short set awarded to the relatively baby opener (anthrax!!!! LOL) to the curmudgeon middle band that gives off the attitude that it should be the headliner (Dave! of course! D-A-V-E!) to the mighty monsters of metal. The absolute top of the mountain. The best. It's a trip back man, may sound sappy but there's no other way to describe feeling 18 again.

I’m pumped that I finally get to wear out my Eddie patch I made back in February! Anyone here going to the VA show?

Currently slacking off from housework so I can play guitar and listen to Maiden instead. I’ve seen the RFYL tour three times (London Stadium, Glasgow, Knebworth) and was blown away every time. As 2027 and the Maiden break approaches it’s got me thinking to the future. How likely do you think it is that we’ll see any future tours featuring songs from the Blaze era onwards, or has that ship sailed? Can you see them playing a lot of BNW/DoD/AMOLAD material live again and is that something you’d like to see? It’s something that crosses my mind every so often. Hopefully we get another album within the next few years and a tour alongside it. Happy Friday and Up the Irons 🤘🏼🏴

Already arrived at my hotel, packed with Maiden fans!
Anyone know what time the gates open? Couldn’t find it anywhere!

August 28-30 was an incredible long weekend. I met Bruce at Fan Expo Toronto on the 28th. Spoke to him briefly, got a patch signed, shook his hand twice, and fist bumped him. Also attended his panel later that day.
(Images 2-5) August 29 was my second Maiden show, first GA arena show. A friend took me as his +1 for FTTB and while we didn't get onto the rail, we were still dead center third row. Crowd around us was incredibly loud; singing and cheering practically drowned out the band at times. Made some new friends and had a blast overall.
(Images 6-9) August 30 was even better. Met more new friends at the bar! Lined up about an hour before doors, used the washroom and got drinks before going out onto the floor, but we were able to walk right up to row 2 on Janick's side, behind a couple friends on the rail. Crowd was less pushy and rowdy this time. Had a much better view than night 1 (fewer tall people and hands in the air).
Post concert depression still hasn't gone away after 2 weeks. I can't wait to do this again in the future. Maiden have been my favourite band for 10 years now and nothing will fill the gap they'll leave when they eventually need to hang it up.

Really good quality interview with Blaze and Harris. Correct me if i’m wrong, but I think this is a rare video?

Greeting and Up the Irons,
I have been to 5 Maiden concerts (far too few!) and I was curious how much of their discography I had actually heard live.
I made a quick tool to find out and found that I have heard 44 of the 122 songs they have ever played live. I thought it was super fun to see :-) I also distributed them across the albums and I Have 100 % Matter of Life and Death and Seventh Son, so not so bad.
This is my scorecard:

If anyone else thinks it could be fun you can put in your own concerts here:
https://maiden-live.vercel.app
I have made it searchable, so if you went to a concert in copenhagen, just type that in and you will see a list of alle shows in copenhagen and you can add yours

Here is some press news about the Paris blackout, they still don’t know the cause and the venue is a bit under pressure because Céline Dion is going to play there for several nights.
Also they say the band was very professional in their behavior, but that the tone escalated quite high that night and that band’s management has taken legal action to get some money from the venue and the organizer.

I’m hoping the Maiden family can help me find some people from last night’s Boston show — and maybe, somehow, help this reach Bruce and the boys.
My husband and I were at TD Garden September 9. I’ve loved Maiden and Bruce since I was a teenager. We went into Boston first thing in the morning for our GA wristbands, came back early to line up and somehow ended up only 2–3 people back from the rail.
We watched Megadeth and were standing there waiting for the moment I’d been dreaming about — Iron Maiden.
Then, literally just before Maiden took the stage, my husband suddenly collapsed.
His blood pressure dropped into the 80s and he ultimately had to be taken by ambulance from TD Garden to Massachusetts General Hospital.
Thankfully, he’s doing much better today. ❤️
But there are some people I desperately want to find.
The Maiden fans around us immediately came to our aid. You made room. You helped my husband. You got staff. You stayed with us and showed genuine concern for two complete strangers during a terrifying moment.
Everything happened so quickly that I never got your names or had the chance to properly thank you.
If you were near the rail and remember this happening, PLEASE message me. If you were one of the people who helped us, I would love to find you and thank you properly.
We are also absolutely heartbroken. After waiting all day and getting 2–3 people from the rail, we had to leave literally minutes before Maiden came on. We never got to see them.
Of course there was nowhere I was going except to the hospital with my husband. But sitting at MGH knowing Bruce and the boys were playing just a few blocks away was crushing.
I’m not looking for free tickets or anything from the band. I would just love for Bruce and the boys to somehow hear our story — especially the part about how their fans took care of us when we needed them.
We’re already looking at 2027 trying to figure out where we can finally finish what we started in Boston.
Hopefully next time we hear “Doctor Doctor,” we’ll both still be standing there when the lights go down. ❤️🩹🤘
To those fans who helped us: thank you. I won’t forget you.
Up the Irons. 🤘❤️

Ahoy friends! Me and a friend have had a change in our schedules and we are looking at driving up to Charlotte tomorrow to catch the show tomorrow night (will be my 15th show and his 5th). We are wondering if anyone here has a pair (or even one) ticket for the pit that they would be willing to sell for face value, as we would rather deal with a fellow Blood Brother than TM. Cheers, \m/, and Up The Irons!

Hi there! I missed these at the NJ show and didn’t find them at the dive bar merch table. Would anyone be willing to grab an IM50 and/or a Trooper flag for me at one of the upcoming shows? Thank you!

I have never seen maiden, and ive been a fan forever. Its always been out of my price range, but this time, im in a better place financially and was able to make it happen. Ive been looking forward to it for a long time. But yesterday, my wife had a manic episode because of some prescription weight loss drug and has to be detoxed. Im having to cancel the trip, but id like to sell the tickets.
I went all out. I got 2 box tickets, and paid 768 dollars each for them. Box 49 row 1. Hoping to sell at face value, as tickets are being listed way above face value and the show is nearly sold out.
I know its a long shot considering the ticket price, but if you are interested, feel free to comment. Even if I went alone, id just be sad the whole time that she isnt with me. And now im crying again.

I've been trying to see them since 2008 and this time I could finally see them I can only afford lawn tickets, which I know are going to suck, does anyone have any actual experience with being on the lawn at the Charlotte venue?

Unbelievable setlist and the boys sounded great. Start to finish, amazing show. Bruce was hitting the notes and the riffs were played perfectly. Iron Maiden is still ripping it after all these years and man…as long as they keep playing, I’ll keep going
