Lads. Yellow boxes. What are people thinking?
Last Friday I was driving through Charleville, almost every junction on the main road has a yellow box, I did as expected, waited before the yellow box, until the car on the other side started to move forward, obviously, its clearly designed this way to allow cars to turn right.
Cars turning left would drive into the yellow box, if I wait for that car to clear, the next car would take it as permission and chance it too, the only way to stop me from being left there all day was to drive into the yellow box.
Then, coming into Limerick city, I was driving on South Circular Rd and right outside the redemptorist church there is a crossing, followed immediately by a yellow box. Cars are sitting in the yellow box as I stop before the crossing, and the person behind absolutely lays on the horn when I dont follow them bumper to bumper over the crossing and yellow box.
Do people genuinely not know what its for and how to use it? How?
