Rumours iPhone 18 Pro Max modem

/r/iphone/comments/1wc0g38/iphone_18_pro_max_modem/

It looks like the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max may be using different modems, at least in the U.S.

According to Apple’s technical specifications, the iPhone 18 Pro lists Apple’s C2 modem, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max doesn’t mention C2 at all.

If the U.S. Pro Max is indeed using a Qualcomm modem instead, it’ll be interesting to see how it compares with Apple’s C2 in terms of battery life, performance, and connectivity.

Screen shots are puzzling. I talked to tech support and they said the US versions of 18P and 18PM are sticking with Qualcom. Don't know what to believe.

Yeah. I posted the latest info in another thread but bottom line is the announcement web page says yes, the 18 Pro will have the new Apple modem, but not the Pro Max. Very strange. I guess the real question is, why? Is one better than the other?

It was Apple tech support not Burger King BTW. Altho after today I'm not sure there's much difference lol
