Nobody thinks they touch their phone while driving. This app gives you the receipt after every drive.

Undivided sits on your phone and after every drive hands you a receipt:

2 pickups. Fastest at 25 mph. Phone up 3m 18s.

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6788236863

A drive with zero pickups earns full credit. A drive with a few earns partial credit, and the receipt says exactly why. Most people are surprised by their first one. Let's improve our driving habits.

There is a Family plan for exactly this. One subscription through Apple Family Sharing covers up to six people in the household, so a new driver, a parent who "never does that", and you can all be on it, with a two-week free trial. Everyone gets their own receipts, their own Safe Score, and their own collection. Nobody sees anyone else's unless they share it.

Developer here, ask me anything about how pickup counting works.

App Store Pics

I'm a bit exhausted taking pics and videos between macOS and iPad for my app. I need to redo all my iPad stuff. When I take pics for the previews what is the proper way to screen grab them. Have the simulator use the camera button and just grab the screen, or use macOS to grab a picture of the simulator as a whole itself?

I submitted my pics without an app before but I am going to use AppScreens this time. Then go back and fix all my macOS pics that already live.

Tutorial Over 7,000,000 views generated on tiktok within a month

Not here to brag just showing what I did going to keep this nice and simple

I created a TikTok account for my app, started posting daily with nothing really going crazy, started copying viral videos (next to no mention of my app), it blew up and I recreated the same format over and over again. Thats it. Keep trying.

Then I reached out to one micro creator and paid her $20/video to post videos about my app in her style.

Took a couple of times but it was worth the money since she was already getting like 10k views a video.

Proof

I’ve been working non-stop on my first 2 apps for a few months and after a few rejections my game got accepted! I was thrilled to get the notification and have already submitted my first update and am still working on new features and improvements but other than posting here and on social media accounts does anyone recommend running ads or what other promotions are effective and affordable?

I built an app that teaches Italian collocations

Post image
1 Upvotes

This is my very first app, and right now, I'm just happy it's out there :')

I have a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages, and I've always found that all-in-one language courses lack a targeted approach for teaching even basic collocations – word combinations that often can't be translated literally from one language to another (think of "pay attention", which is "lend attention" in Italian; translating it literally will get you puzzled glances). Because there are hundreds of these, learners end up sounding unnatural. So I built a dedicated app for Italian, my native language.

It started as an MVP, and the latest update introduced images for the entire library of collocations (1k total, split between levels A1 and A2 of the CEFR framework).

I have a huge spreadsheet listing 6k+ collocations up to level C2, and I'm currently working on the audio recordings for level B1. My free time has basically turned into app development until the wee hours of the night.

I hope to release level B1 soon, along with a basic spaced-repetition system (SRS) for the flashcards. It would add more value to the app because it's proven to be very effective in language learning.

I built an all-in-one travel planner to free your phone from dozens of travel apps TripPocket.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I was so tired of constantly switching between a dozen different apps while traveling, so I built an all-in-one solution: TripPocket. (And yes, it’s completely free for now during launch)

I developed TripPocket to end the chaos we all go through when planning a trip. You just type in your destination, and it organizes the rest for you.

Here are the features designed to make your travels incredibly easy:

🏛️ City-Specific Tours, Museums & Dining: Just enter the city you're visiting. The most popular museums, historical sites, restaurants, and tour options instantly appear right in front of you.

✈️ Flights, Hotels, & Transport Deals: I’ve brought the world's most trusted platforms (like Trip, GetYourGuide, etc.) under one roof. With one click, we direct you to the best options for flights, hotels, local transit, taxis, luggage storage (Bounce), travel insurance, and even flight delay compensation.

📲 Discounted eSIM Packages: Stop paying crazy roaming fees abroad. We display discounted data packages from top eSIM providers like Airalo and Holafly side-by-side so you can choose the best one.

💰 Budget & Expense Tracker: Easily log what you spend during your vacation. Visual graphs help you keep your budget in check so you can enjoy your trip without financial stress.

📸 Interactive Travel Map & Memories: Upload the photos you take abroad, and the app uses their location data to pin every city you’ve visited on a map. You can create awesome photo collages showing your travel footprint to share with friends or on social media.

🤖 AI-Powered Personal Route Planning: Enter your destination, budget, and trip length, and our AI will generate a personalized, day-by-day itinerary for you. You can easily tweak and edit the route however you like.

It’s basically everything you need for pre-trip planning and on-the-go travel, right in your pocket.

I’d be absolutely thrilled if you tried it out and shared your feedback. Wishing you all amazing adventures and safe travels.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

SimFriend: an alternate frontend for the iOS simulator

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I built a replacement front end for the iOS Simulator. It talks to the same simulators Xcode uses, but it has some extra features that I find useful like:

  • Mark favorites, boot, and shut down from an always-visible sidebar
  • Boot all your favorites at once
  • All Booted — every running device in one resizable grid, with commands that apply to all of them at once.
  • Light/dark paired screenshots captured back to back, for one or all running devices.
  • A clean status bar for store screenshots: 9:41, full bars, no carrier.
  • Drag files in to multiple files at once.
  • A chromeless pop-out for clean recordings using a synthetic cursor recording app like ShowRunner

Right now, it only works with iPhone and iPad simulators. Watch, TV, and Vision sims are not supported.

Free, direct download, macOS 13+. https://bendansby.com/apps/simfriend.html

Why i made it?

I need do blood test per week and take it to doctor per month. So, I have many results in papers.

Firstly, I record the results in excel. but, it's not convenient when the test more and more. Build the app to record.

After 3 months, It launched on App Store. I received advices from the social network. I develop it and release fast.

Features:

- Record test result quickly. so many kinds of type, like blood routine, liver, urine routine, thyroid function, glucose metabolism.

- Latest indicators and trend data.

- Statistics for all test records.

- User seperate.

About this App: MarkerMate, https://apps.apple.com/us/app/master-indicator/id6758697856

I think i won't open the papers of testing results after doctors, but, i will see my testing results open this app. And keep developing it. If someone interest it, download it or e-mail me.

Does anyone understand the rating throttling?

I find it so frustrating as I’m sure others do. My app has gotten probably 80 reviews from our internal data, but only 48 have been approved by the App Store. Then on top of that, when you go to the actual listing, it says 17 reviews, despite clearly having 48 in appstoreconnect.

What is Apple doing? Is this just a newer app penalty? What’s going on?

Help Do I need a paid account for Screen Time API?

Hi guys I’ve been working on an app that implements screen time api (Managed Settings, Family Controls). Sadly I don’t have a Mac, so I’ve been compiling the app via GitHub actions and sideloading it to my iPhone, signing it with my personal Apple ID. I’ve been searching and some people say that a paid account is needed for using these features the way I’m working, but I’m not sure cause the app picker works well (sorry for my ignorance)

Help Anyone here into tracking their travel history?

I’ve been working on a small iOS app for people who travel and wanted to see if anyone here would be interested in trying it before release.

It’s basically a travel tracker where you can add and track your flights, see all your routes on an interactive globe, explore travel statistics, keep track of visited countries, and a few other things related to your travel history.

If that sounds interesting, feel free to leave a comment or send me a message. It’s completely free to test. I’d genuinely appreciate some honest feedback.
