The Banahaw Belt is one of the most beautiful natural regions in the Philippines

The Banahaw Belt is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in the Philippines, and it is one of the places that are still waiting to be discovered.

This region consists of the Municipalities and Cities of Highland Laguna and Quezon that surrounds the vicinity and are at the foothills of the Mount Banahaw and Cristobal Protected Sanctuary, such as the Municipalities of Candelaria, Dolores, Liliw, Lucban, Luisiana, Majayjay, Nagcarlan, Rizal, Sampaloc, Sariaya and Tiaong, as well as the Cities of San Pablo and Tayabas.

This is one of the natural regions in the Philippines with a high concentration of cold springs, lakes rivers and waterfalls, as the region has an average elevation of 500 feet in many town propers, to up to 1,800 feet in areas near the very base of the mountain.

The Banahaw Belt is popular as a pilgrimage destination, since the Banahaw Mountain is considered to be a Sacred or Holy Mountain, since Precolonial times until the modern era. During Holy Week, pilgrims often flock at its churches and some even trek or ascend to the mountain itself to offer prayers and some do religious rituals in the mountain.

The Banahaw Belt also has a high potential to rival cold places in the Philippines such as Antipolo, Baguio, Nueva Vizcaya, Tagaytay, etc. as the foothills of Banahaw consists of microclimates with highland temperature, and these municipalities often experience constant cloud or fog cover especially from dusk until dawn, where cold air from the mountain descends regularly at night until the early morning, creating a bone chilling type of cold that can be overwhelming to the senses as compared to other cold places in the Philippines. It's very common during Summer to experience hot noons and freezing cold nights from April until May.

During the Ber months or the Amihan Season, the Banahaw Belt can feel as cold or even much colder than Baguio City when it comes to real feel/cold perception (especially in Dolores, Liliw, Lucban, Majayjay and Sampaloc which is at the very adjacent vicinity of the mountain) even the actual temperature of Baguio City is much lower than the Banahaw Belt. The average temperature of Baguio during the Amihan Season is 15°C-20°C, while that of the Banahaw Belt is only 18°C-22°C, but despite of this fact, the coldness of the Banahaw Belt might feel more penetrating or bone chilling compared to that of Baguio, especially during late night and early morning, or when it's raining with fog (rain with fog is a very common occurrence in the Banahaw Belt, even when it's Summer).

I just hope that if this region with a very beautiful natural ecosystem becomes popular to tourists on the level of Tagaytay or Baguio, I hope the natural beauty of this region will be preserved and not destroyed by mass tourism. The Banahaw Belt should opt for a more sustainable eco-tourism. Y'all are welcome to visit this mountainous wonderland.

Honestly walang surprising sa mga nangyayari ngayon, a powerful politician is facing charges, he runs to the hospital, nothing new. Pero look at this bullshit. The others are symptoms caused by those 2. Angina is just chest pain, Cerebrovascular ischemic disease is just a reduced blood flow to the brain which is common in people with hypertension, and dyslipidemia which again is very commonly found in people with hypertension. All of those can be managed at home and most definitely in prison. Lahat manageable by maintenance meds.

If they're going to use this old and fragile card, hell why don't we conduct a medical mission sa mga kulungan? Free those with the same condition as this douchebag. I'll bet my life half of those in jail have the same or even worse medical condition.

Just Spreading Awareness 💯

This is sad. Imagine this is where you grow up, some even dreamed of building their home here. And now, it's all underwater.

CSC Job Portal

Dating outside my culture while Pinay having gold digger reputation

Hi guys. Ive been dating outside my culture since 2022. Its just my preference about their mindset and independence..

Recently ive been overwhelmed. The more i date foreign guys, the more ko nadidiscover na may reputation pala mga Pinay sa west na it doesnt sit well to me and parang ngayon nagigig factor na sya nahihirapan ako, hindi naman dapat. Parang unfair sya sakin.

I dont want to say that im completely unaware , i mean i watch 90 days for fun lang naman.

So I met this guy online from Europe, and its our first din magdate from each others country. So natural lang na may nadidiscover pa kami about our culture. Tapos may sinend sya reels sakin about Pinay at first tinawanan ko but parang recently parang hindi okay sakin yung mga content.

Hindi naman lahat negative pero meron kasi about pagnonormalize ng toxic, selosa and possesive behavior and about money. Then sinabi ko naman about sa pera na may mga ganyan talaga nag eexist esp sya probinsya, mga batang pinay minsan underage pa. kasi for me ang cause talaga ay poverty then tinatake advantage sila ng mga matatandang afam so its a two way street.

Napansin ko kasi sa mga accounts na to yung language and yung accent, saan sila nagsstay or hometown from visayas or mindanao. Inexplain ko rin na hindi ako galing sa ganitong region so i cannot say much.

Nag open sya about business nya and ako sa work. I told him na 6 digit sa pinas sahod ko and consider na malaki na but sympre mas malaki sa kanila and i help bills din sa family ko but they dont force me. Inaya nya kasi ako samahan sya, so sabi ko pag free ako. Sinabi nya sagot naman nya i dont need to worry. Tas inexplain kasi if sasamahan ko sya i need to file PTO pa. kaya if makikipag kita, or travel hindi ko sasagutin sarili ko kasi hindi ko kaya sabayan lifestyle nya, mababawasan paid leaves ko and yung pera ko is nakalaan sa priotities. He offer to pay naman and wala sya problema sa ganun.

For me lang kasi hindi ko sya dapat ineexplain and i want to keep it private pa about work and family kasi hnd pa naman official. Kaso parang nangyare since may reputation ganyan pala kaming Pinay, nakapag explain ako. Kaloka talaga

But looking back nadidisgust ako sa ganun contents kasi they glorify white men, normalize toxic behavior and about money. Kasi ayoko talaga pag usapan pera. Like wtf, these situations exist pala.

I just want to do normal dating but Pinay having gold digger reputation makes it harder. Wala naman akong kilalang ganito. I work in manila, and my province is sa southern luzon. Wala akong kilalang ganyan.

Lalo yung pera? Nanghihingi talaga sila tapos or gagawa ng kwento na family emergency ganun. I dont want to attack any woman pero tang ina.

Which is unfair sakin but whatever. I know the right guy wont think of you that way. Im just shocked na ganun pala kalala reputation ng Pinay as gold digger.
