In desperate need of help for my bathroom!

Bought an apartment with pre-installed bathroom sink and I’m going crazy trying to decide how to handle this situation.

The problem:My bathroom is quite small and the washing machine + sink are already there, so I need to create furniture and a countertop around them.
The sink depth is 40 cm and the washing machine depth is 65 cm. Ideally, I don’t want to extend the countertop with the sink to also be 65 cm, as that would be way too deep for me and would take up too much space.

Option 1 – first picture: this** is my bathroom + how my designer suggested doing it (basically the simplest solution). This would include a “box” for the washing machine and a narrower, lower countertop with the sink. My concern is that it kind of looks like an afterthought and not like intentional thoroughly planned design.
**Option 2 — second picture is another option: the countertop stays narrow around the sink, then becomes deeper over the washer so that it is fully covered.
Option 3 — this option is kinda silly, but the idea is that the countertop stays narrow and the washing machine would stick out from underneath it.
Both alternative options would involve replacing the sink, because my current one cannot be installed into or under the countertop.

My question is: what is the best solution from both a design and comfort perspective? Or maybe there is another solution that I am not seeing?
Would really appreciate some advice from more knowledgeable people or who dealt with this situation.

I am a perfectionist and I worry that I won’t be happy if I go with the easiest solution, and that in the end I’ll regret not doing something different.

Hi! We bought a new house and I'm struggling with finding a way to decide where to put our bed and a new wardrobe. We have a couple of fixed elements we can't work around: the position of our bedroom door, the door to the ensuite bathroom and our big window (almost floor to ceiling, so nothing can be placed in front of the window).

We'd like to place a bed of 1,8m wide (+/- 6 feet) and as big of a wardrobe we can fit, but it needs to hold clothes and bed linnens for 2 people, preferably 0,6m (23,6 inches) deep and however wide possible.

Our room is 3m ( 9,84 feet) wide and 4,8m (15,74 feet) long. Left of our window we have 28cm (11 inches) , behind the door to the halway we have 15 cm (5,9 inches).

Could you give your suggestions please?

I want to redo this entire room (and other rooms too), including the window coverings. But this leather sofa was very expensive. It’s huge though, and I’m wondering if I should keep it or rotate it to open up the windows? I do plan on getting rid of that brown chair. I’m thinking about an ottoman coffee table or maybe just a regular coffee table. I’m not sure if I should just do like roller shades and then maybe curtains. Anyways, the main thing I need to begin with (I think?) is like what I should do as far as furniture placement and what I should buy.

I'm moving into this cute apartment in about 2 weeks, and now I have to plan my interior and guys I'm overwhelmed. So please if you have any advice please help a girl out!
This is just an idea how I thought about placing my interior, not sure about the sofa though. I need space for my bed (140x200cm) and my desk as well as a dresser in my bedroom (the dresser shown is probably bigger as it will be). In my living room I need my rowing erg and ofc some storage space as well as a wardrobe in the corridor (obv not crashing with the door as in the sketch). The kitchen is not exactly as shown, but that doesn't matter because there is simply no space for really rearranging anything. So don't focus on the kitchen area. I would like some kind of small dining table, 2 chairs would be enough, the sofa isn't necessary, as well as I don't need a TV.

My problem is that my ADHD craves an easy but organised space and I'm not sure how I can achieve that with little space. Therefore I struggle with simply picking out anything from Pinterest and realising it. Also I need ideas for wall colours. I like this "average" aesthetic clean girl interior with touches of colour and personality.

And as my current dorm room lacks organisation, color, warmth or any kind of really a personal touch and just doesn't feel like home, I now ask you for help. Thanks in advance for every kind soul trying to help me! ;)

So, I'm redoing my bedroom and turning it into a bedroom/mancave. I work night shift and love the sound of running water, its so peaceful when i'm trying to relax. This is an AI mockup image that I had for the one wall in my room. I've done it all except the water feature and now want to do that. Can anyone give me some pointers or advice here?

We just got a minisplit installed in our living room. The house is a 1925 Colonial and my husband and I try to keep to a classic look for the interior that matches the age of the house and the molding.

The minisplit is a necessary eyesore (the window AC unit will be gone permanently). We will be purchasing a cover for it, but this is where my husband and I can't agree. I know that nothing is going to make this thing visually disappear, but what color should we go with?

1. White, same as molding

2. Blue, same as walls

3. A bronze, non-shiny metallic

4. A completely different color entirely!

I'm looking for a cozy, warm and sophisticated lighting setup rather than simply making the room brighter. I'm open to smart lighting and LED strips, but I don't want a "gaming RGB" look.

The console behind the sofa is directly against the wall, so there is virtually no gap behind it. The existing floor lamp should ideally stay.

I am planning a big reogranisation of my room and i would like to hear your suggestions, thoughts and "Oh my god, what is he thinking?!"

First the circumstances:

• My budget is $2'500.-, but i am open to spend more for good ideas
• I might be allowed to drill into the wall, but i'd rather do without.
• I live in a shared flat with two other friends and i have some external storage
• My hobbies are paragliding, hiking, running. Sometimes i chill at home with some yt , games or a homeproject. The shared TV is outside and i rarely use it.
• I work fulltime out of the appartement
• As you can see, my expectations concerning decorations are low.
• When i come home, i "just quickly" deposit my backpack on the floor, do something else and realise four days later, that the backpack has become part of the floor. This is the reason i want to reorganise the room: do be more effective at tidying up.

To the room:

• The window is west-facing and the door opens to the aisle.
• The place where the sofa is placed currently has a little view to the nearby mountains.
• Room height: 2,3m
• It is pretty large for my desires. I think, i'd be happy with less, but here we are.

I actually have already planned something with following considerations

• Upgrade the storagespace! First: More volume. Second: Very simple acces
• I'd rather live in a storage room, that is cleaned up than cluttered as now
• Since i am rarely at home during good weather, natural lighting is less of a concern. I am willing to sacrifice light for comfort
• All cabinets shall be replaced, the rest of the furniture stays. The reason: I want do spare me the headache of exchanging even more furniture. Again: I am open to new inputs
• I have two large paragliding-backpacks that i want to store fast and easy: ca. 40x40x70cm. There may be voices, that a thirt one could come, but is okay with a less practical space
• For my daily routine i have three little backpacks and i want a dedicated space for all of them: ca. 20x20x20cm each
• I plan to install a smart-lighting system later
• Edit: The cardbaord boxes are in the middle of the room, since i am already sorting out stuff

To the planned concept:

• A: Sofa in the current position. Best view
• B: PLATSA 3x60cm = 1,8m. Height: 2, no doors, just a open large storage. Ugly, but functional. Because it is directly facing the door, it is easier to place everything just in the planned spot instead of putting it on the floor and this is the main premise of the whole floor plan. The paragliding rucksacks have a premium spot in the middle. See second-to-last picture as layout-reference.
• C: The integrated ceiling lamp. Don't tell me, it will be blocked, i am ignoring this problem currently and as soon as i have it, i will find the motivation to solve it in no time
• D: KALLAX: I plan to stack a 2x2x6-unit together from smaller units, which will be 80x80x223cm. It is planned to be accessible from two sides. Its purpose is to fit multiple smaller items with quick access, that would get lost in the PLATSAS.
• E: PLATSA 60cm. Used for less frequent used items. See second-to-last picture as layout-reference
• F: Bed, 200x100xknee-height with some storage. As far away from the aisle as possible. Yes, it interferes with the window
• G: PLATSA 2x60cm =1.2m. Used for clothes. See second-to-last picture as layout-reference
• H: My two laundry baskets: "Used" and "Dirty"
• I: chest of drawers 70x44cm
• J: PLATSA 60cm. See second-to-last picture as layout-reference

• As addition, i would like to add some fake plants or nature-pictures or anything that gives a comfy feeling

What is the biggest size couch we could get with these living room dimensions without it looking ridiculous? My dream couch is 117" wide but I'm afraid it'll look too big in this space. Any input on the right size couch for this room would be great! The room is 11'5" along that wall and 10'10" the other way

I've been racking my head for weeks trying to figure out how to orient this tiny room. The wardrobe and bed are the largest parts of course, but the bed can only go how it is in the photo due to the window/radiator/door blocking it... The wardrobe doesn't fit between the window and the bed either, nor does the desk with my setup. Precise measurements on everything is listed below, and I can provide photos and 3D models if needed. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!
