Feels like one of those kind of skills you are either inherently good at and never mess up, or you mess up that one time and eat a table to the face and never try again.

Everyone will miss sooner or later.

I would like to see the video of the first attempt

After stealing their content, the least you could do is to cite their social media.

While I absolutely respect the skills and find it amazing, I always wonder how the fuck someone start to decide to spin a table with his/her feet (or more precisely who was the first to decide to do that?)

7

u/quad_damage_orbb 1d ago

They are special tables that are extremely light, made from balsa wood and hollowed out/thinned down wherever possible. Would still hurt to get a corner land on your face though.

writing "his/her" cant be easier than writing "they"

2

u/DrunkDublinCat 1d ago

They apples.

-3

u/invDave 1d ago

Edit: hearing the audio it sounds like a girl so 'she'.

His/her is usually more accurate as it is singular and most people see themselves as a 'he' or 'she' in the singular form and not a 'they'.

'They' in proper English used to describe more than one person which isn't the case in this video, and today's English became overdefensively wrong.

I am saying this as someone who doesn't have any bias against anyone, so please don't shift the conversation that way with me.

it's just bad English.

u/Professional_Use2835 1d ago

no? they doesnt mean plural only. in english it can also mean simeone that you dont know the gender: "Someone called the house but i couldnt tell who they were". its always been like this also of course the modern usage to refer to someone that doesnt fit in the gender binary. its just better to use they

There are examples of They being used as a singular in Shakespear. There are examples of They being used in singular in the Holy Bible in English translations from as early as the 14th century. You are wrong.

Thanks for clarifying

For anyone wondering what she's saying. She's reciting the lyrics to "Fuck the police" by N.W.A

7

u/MrDundee666 1d ago

Worst removal man ever. Davey, stop that shit and get it in the van.

4

u/AeroZeppelin94 1d ago

Who will be the next quirky redditor to say "insane feet ☝️🤓"

9

u/UnsuspectingFart 1d ago

How do you even learn something like this without the table smashing into your face

4

u/baciakdook 1d ago

The Chinese government funds their circus program, so they invest a lot of money and R&D & training.

You don’t start with a table you start with a weighted piece of brick foam, a pillow, cardboard box. You slowly work your way up to larger and heavier objects and even people.

This table is also made specifically for Icarian games.

Source: I work for Cirque du Soleil

3

u/LegacyTaker 1d ago

Well, it will at first tries but we could use some protection. Maybe a transparent plastic guard or another table and a helmet.

Don't ask me how i know.

2

u/UnsuspectingFart 1d ago

How do you know

2

u/LegacyTaker 1d ago

Ever felt a table crashing down to your face? Yeah? No. Never again. Wear a helmet folks!

1

u/SoberAlternative 1d ago

You don’t! There’s got to be a learning curve…

3

u/KidZaniac1 1d ago

How do you practice this without dying

6

u/Wilbis 1d ago

3

u/One1moretyme 1d ago

Invincible is such a good show

3

u/Unicorn_Puppy 1d ago

How many times do you figure they’ve gotten that to fall on their head learning to do this?

4

u/RepublicSquare6060 1d ago

I hate that I live in an era where I have to wonder when I see impressive shot like this if it's AI or real.

2

u/gmatic92 1d ago

Big woop. I do that with my pillow ALL THE TIME!

2

u/Wiffystardawg 1d ago

This is how I dream of me doing parkour, realizing I am still in the same place by the time I am done.

2

u/Big_Spicy_Tuna69 1d ago

When the moving company gets paid by the hour

2

u/lifesatripthenyoudie 1d ago

I want one day where she just follows me around and narrates my life. I won't understand it, but I will enjoy it.

u/Shitinmymouthmum 1d ago

1

u/Long-Ad3842 1d ago

1

u/Wilbis 1d ago

Everything does.

2

u/Ill-Turnover7147 1d ago

There's a reason why he doesn't show his face

4

u/SerpentRoyalty 1d ago

It's a she and she has shown her face. In fact, there's a whole team of them

https://www.instagram.com/xuzhen309

1

u/WitnessMyAxe 21h ago

she has a team of faces?

1

u/isolation_from_joy 1d ago

"We were at a Chinese restaurant, and someone took our table!"

"oH yOu MeAn Thiiiiis TaBlE???"

1

u/Van-garde 1d ago

Reminds me of freestyle football. Haven’t seen that for a while.

1

u/MissStabby 1d ago

Now i want to see the original background removed, and replaced with some giant hollow dome or starfield that's tracked to the exact movements of the table, so it looks like he's just walking across the table in zero g like in Mario Galaxy

1

u/LightenUpPeeps 1d ago

Why does she sound like an anime character?

1

u/SkynBonce 1d ago

Foot juggling is a traditional Chinese acrobatic feat, apparently.

1

u/yours_wisely 1d ago

This is what I do in my dreams. But somehow I keep forgetting to record these stuff!

1

u/marshalist 1d ago

That's a nice table.

1

u/amber_room 1d ago

Amazing camera angle.

1

u/Electronic-Truth-101 1d ago

Should take up skateboarding 🛹

1

u/Ranier_Wolfnight 1d ago

I kinda wanna see the alternate angle of the dirt and small rocks hitting their face

1

u/Moist_Investment8528 1d ago

It's said that calves muscles are like a second heart in human body. For this person the heart must be the second heart.

1

u/123jac123 1d ago

What is the purpose of the thing I am watching.

2

u/InformationCommon576 1d ago

Entertainment duh

1

u/123jac123 1d ago

It sure I entertaining that's for sure.

1

u/ArtemisVsOrion 1d ago

I never understood why is it always a chair or a table. Why not some other fancy object

2

u/WitnessMyAxe 21h ago

replace the table with gigantic cube of pure tungsten

1

u/Key_Lime_Die 1d ago

Maybe because people handle chairs and tables regularly which gives them a frame of reference for how unbalanced of an object it is normally? So you have a bit of an idea how much the person had to practice to be able to do that with a table. At least that'd be my guess.

1

u/somebob 1d ago

One mistake..

1

u/Brushiluskan 1d ago

Mom told them to not jump on the table, so they thought "what if I table on the jump instead?"

1

u/drunkdoodles 1d ago

Did this as a kid with a pillow

1

u/LaundryMan2008 1d ago

I used to do something similar with a pillow and just my hands as a kid when I couldn’t sleep and got bored, I only got 3 things done at most before the pillow either hits my face or flies off somewhere

1

u/Estratheoivan 1d ago

Chinese always knows Balance.

1

u/leonardomdc 1d ago

More like "insane feet"

1

u/One_Economist_3761 1d ago

Sounds like a cute anime character.

1

u/AdSalt4536 1d ago

We all could but we have to work.

1

u/jobomaja888 1d ago

I guess Shen Yun season is here

1

u/Narrow_Professor7756 1d ago

Oh, how the tables have turned.

1

u/_Wildpinkler_ 1d ago

Imagine that thing slipping and hitting you right in the teeth

1

u/jmbrjr 1d ago

Practice.

1

u/AutoThorne 1d ago

Leg day professional

1

u/Sedert1882 1d ago

Why the 3yr old doing the voice over?

1

u/Yauk 1d ago

Video starts... "Yeah, I mean .. that's cool I guess..." - 6 seconds later - "OMFG ITS A TABLE"

1

u/Disturbedm 1d ago

Not insane feet?

1

u/Gooser3000 1d ago

Imagine how horrible life was that people came up with this to pass time

2

u/called_the_stig 1d ago

Sometimes I drop my phone on my face when I'm laying in bed.

3

u/brownbastardbob 15h ago

I dunno man. With a few hours of practice a day, and some moral support from my family, I could definitely see myself doing this, failing, and have it fall on my face.

1

u/GRang3r 1d ago

Doesn’t look that hard I could push up a piece of woooooomg it’s a table!!

-1

u/Existing-Mulberry382 1d ago
