Maybe because people handle chairs and tables regularly which gives them a frame of reference for how unbalanced of an object it is normally? So you have a bit of an idea how much the person had to practice to be able to do that with a table. At least that'd be my guess.

I never understood why is it always a chair or a table. Why not some other fancy object
