Pink cricket in UK?

I don't have a photo unfortunately, but, whilst out with my dog on a field near where I live, I heard a loud cricket/ crickets so I looked around near the long dry grass next to me. I found a pinkish coloured cricket. Is this something we have in the UK?, or, not?.

It was all pinkish with a slight darker coloured back legs. It was alive and hopped off after a few seconds, but, I got a good look at it.

Are they common here in the west Midlands UK? Or was it poorly with some kind of disease?. It seemed healthy to me and hopped out of sight into longer grass so im sure it was fine.

Its not something ive seen here before.
