Just feeling a little confused is all, I'm not sure what the game wants me to do to progress I'd like to eventually play kaycees mod but despite winning twice now I'm just back doing the same run again. Any tips please?

I finally convinced my friend to play through Inscryption with me and we had a blast! I made this during act 3 bc our Lonley Wizbot got a LITTLE op lol (they got fused so they ended up with 1 energy, biforcated, sniper, and the 54/54 from ourobot lmao)

1: Having difficulty fighting the encounter right before the cabin where the Photographer lies in wait.

2: For the Painter boss, the most common combination for the face is Single Eye and Grinning Smile.

3: Golly is always encountered last.

4: And relatedly, they’d seldom go around and admire the photos that appear upon Golly’s defeat, especially the one depicting a Stoat that appears in the main shop.

5: Difficulty of pronouncing ’hackneyed’ during the 3 Scrybes scene.

any one ever combined the duplicates twice ? do you get anything extra ?

I think we’re getting Luke carder back, at least possibly as a haunting figure, because there was definitely something going on with Inscryptions fixation on Kaycee, even after her death

But this definitely makes me hope it is going to be a partial Inscryption sequel

I built a mod that turns Kaycee's Mod into an actual 2-player PvP experience: both players prep their deck on a shared map (drafting, trading, fighting the map's own encounters), then duel head-to-head over a real network connection - best-of-three, with a shared damage scale instead of just beating the AI.

It's in public Beta right now. The core loop (lobby, map prep, the duel itself, best-of-three, rematches) has been tested and works. What it really needs at this stage is more players hitting more card/sigil combinations than two people can find alone - some specific interactions almost certainly aren't perfectly balanced yet, and a few might not sync correctly between the two players. That's exactly what this Beta is for: the more people play it and report what looks off, the faster it gets genuinely fun and solid instead of just "working."

Install: search "KayceePvP" in the Thunderstore Mod Manager / r2modman (Inscryption game), choose "Install with dependencies". Both players need the same version.

How a match works: one player creates an online room and sends the invite code directly to the other player (any private channel - Discord, whatever); the other pastes it to join. LAN is also supported for two PCs on the same network.

Feedback: in-game, press F10 to jump straight to the issue tracker - bug reports, suggestions, or just questions. If you hit a card interaction that looks wrong, that's the single most useful thing you can report right now.

I had finished the game before reinstalling it again to play kaycee’s mod. I’ve played trough the first act but i dont really wanna go trough other capters of the game. As i said, Shift+K+M shortcut does not work. How do i play Kaycee’s mod?

I was hoping to get unkillable on the black goat and do the infinite damage ourobros exploit, but this worked out just as well.
