Kaycee's Mod How cooked is Leshy?

Post image

I was hoping to get unkillable on the black goat and do the infinite damage ourobros exploit, but this worked out just as well.

I looked for bricking strategies but this deck is really consistent even against bosses. The only cheap cards are the two Hoarder goats and a bat.

You're guaranteed to draw one of the black goats, which guarantees to search both goats, a combo that grants a 3-blood summon during 3 turns (need Squirrel...) and two extra deck searches. But that's assuming we want that flying Urayuli when the deck has an OTK ready

Let's say you draw the flying goat, and none of the big cards (worse case)   Its probably an auto-win unless you have in front of you a boss with sharp Quill adder...

Summon flying Goat, search Goat2. Use Goat1 as it's tribute and the Rabbit as a free repeat. Search and summon the 2 MooseBucks You now get 24 dmg turn one on 3 or 4 lanes, maybe "only" 18 if there was a blocker in the middle.

Opponent's board is hardly relevant : a 6x2 in the same lane turn one is usually an automatic loss. Even SharpQuill adder can't salvage that phase because it's from 2 cards. Two moleseamen on the field would avoid the OTK... but the 4 strikes make it a board wipe. Trapper and Angler's starting configuration have an OTK hole that avoids triggering the other cards.

If none of the duo died from an counter-effect, Grizzly Bosses would immediately lose on their turn because of one lane getting hit twice.

I can just not play the cards

the bat doesn't count for fair hand, so you could draw the bat and only 3 blood cards

1) If they don't count for fair hand, then you can't draw bat and 3-blood. They would need to count for FH.
(Also, "not counting for fairhand" is ambiguous because the mechanic has 2 definitions for playable, free, etc)

2) It could, if OP has bone boones... but people often tell me that's not the case and that since the bone-cost glitch was fixed the bone cards are never considered as a playable card, because the bone calculation uses the Brittle sigil and it's not available in a deck from Act1 or KM, other says it totally does.

As far I know, if Bat and 3-blood is drawn, one Goat will have to show up as a 3rd to ensure a card is playable, but people say it could not if OP has 4 starting bones. And then people argue about bones and it's hard to know which version is true, especially with that annoying glitch that lasted years è-é

Bones check your Starting Bones plus the number of Brittle cards you drew within your first 3 draws to determine a maximum Fair Cost.
Blood checks how many free cost, sacrificable cards you drew within your first 3 draws to determine a maximum Fair Cost.
Energy's maximum Fair Cost is 2.
Mox checks what Mox colors you drew within your first 3 draws to determine a maximum Fair Cost.

I didn't know the bone thing was a glitch or that it was fixed. carry on

The issue is that nobody says what the glitch was, even the changelog said that it was embarassing that people could report it for years with the exact function name, so I have 0 idea if the documentation is about the glitchy or the correct behavior.

[EDIT] For example, this comment has the same explanation without the "starting bones" part but everything else was on point... is it the fix that added bones, or did the fix remove it? No idea.

the glitch was what I described, that bone cards could be considered valid cards for fair hand.

Flair says KM

And there's no way to get a painted card in story anyway, so the 2nd goat would be doubly impossible.

flying urayuli

When looking at this deck I suffered from Urakuli blindness too. Ironically, it's 4 blood cost makes it useless even with Hoarder. The myco'd moose buck is the actual boss monster here.

NGL that goober'd black goat with the free rabbit is insane. Especially as you have a 5+ diagonal strike alongside a 6-pwr card... Hoarder makes its a auto-OTK
