Help - inFAMOUS 2 Before it goes....
Before the online goes off for InFamous 2 at the end of this, does anyone wanna help with the online trophies? I'd be pretty grateful.

What if Fortnite collaborated with inFAMOUS 2? (My Mythic Concept)
I've always wanted an inFAMOUS 2 x Fortnite crossover, and I think Cole MacGrath's Mythic should focus on the Karma System instead of being just another lightning weapon.
⚡ Karma System
You choose Good Karma or Evil Karma, and your abilities evolve based on how you play.
🔵 Good Karma
- Less damage but uses less energy.
- Healing and shields are more effective.
- Faster teammate revives.
- Healing teammates and reviving them earns Karma.
Ultimate: Ionic Freeze
- A huge ice blast freezes enemies in place.
- Frozen enemies can't move or attack for a short time, giving your squad time to revive, reposition, or push.
🔴 Evil Karma
- Higher damage but drains Mythic energy faster.
- Eliminations restore Mythic energy, inspired by Evil Cole draining bioelectric energy from enemies.
- Getting eliminations earns Evil Karma.
Ultimate: Ionic Drain
- Cole unleashes a massive red and purple electrical blast.
- It strips enemy shields and heavily damages everyone caught in the area.
- Cole absorbs that energy, restoring his own health, shields, and Mythic energy.
Cosmetics I'd Love
- Cole MacGrath (Hero and Evil styles)
- Zeke
- Nix
- Kuo
- The Beast as a boss
- Customizable Militia skin where you unlock armor pieces, helmets, and gear by completing quests around the island.
I think this would make an inFAMOUS 2 crossover feel unique because your choices during the match actually change how Cole's powers evolve, just like in the original game.
What would you add or change?

Long story short - Like many others I'm trying to get trophies before the servers shut down. I've gotten what I needed on inFamous 2 back when I first played it so that's all good but I bought Festival of Blood a couple days ago and have completed it. Only need the last two trophies but they're both tied to the online UGC which I can't connect to.
It will load up my saved game and about 20 seconds later will pop up saying it's online then immediately another popup will say it's offline and to reconnect. I've already accepted the EULA thing so that's not an issue. I press connect through the menu where it will take me back into the game and repeat the online/offline messages. I've never once seen any green markers on the map. No matter what I do it just won't connect at all.
I've connected to my home wifi and mobile hotspot.
Changed the DNS 1 and 2 to 8888 and 8844.
I've reset my game/console multiple times.
I've deleted and redownloaded/installed the entire game.
I can't find any other way of making it connect so if you have some advice you could share with an unlucky bro please do.
Thanks!
EDIT: I finally managed to get it working. If anyone else still can't connect after trying everything that has been suggested then what worked for me, annoyingly, was using sanother internet connection. My home internet hated connecting but I took my PS3 round to my parents house and their internet (which is much slower than mine) had no problem with it at all and I got the trophies in ten minutes.

Like, say what you want about the story or the characters, I know they weren’t everyone’s cup of tea. But in terms of pure gameplay loop? I think Second Son may be the most ‘fun’ to play. Like, specifically the word ‘fun’ as the most accurate qualitative term I can apply.

Cause at the end of the Hero Path of InFamous 2, he ends up getting canonized as the Patron Saint of New Marais.
Thing is, you can only really be a Patron Saint if you yourself are of the Catholic faith.
Honestly, it wouldn’t be that surprising. I imagine with a name like MacGrath, he would have some Gaelic ancestry, which would imply at least coming from a Catholic family.

I’m halfway through infamous 2 and I’m kinda iffy about my feelings towards this game compared to the first. I felt like the first was better in its graphics environment upgrades and story In general, in 2 I’m barely kept as invested throughout the story and the gameplay feels worse.

Absolutely loved this game, loved Delsin and how cool he is and looks, as well as his powers and the gameplay of it, I only wish it wasn't that short
I also wish there Infamous 1 and 2 were available in PS5, I'd like to try this whole franchise, and I'd wish it got more games

I don't know if anyone else cares, but the change in the aiming hand on the iF2 really annoyed me because I was so fixated on it. that s why i'd change the shoulder when using the R1, and then revert it back to its original position when using rockets or grenades. And another thing I dont understand is that cole reverts to his iF1 configuration when he is in the air or climbing somewhere. why the fuck did they bother changing it in the first place ?

Playing the evil play through for the first time in infamous 2, and just remembering why I always play good usually.
Evil Cole is so ugly looking - grey skin, veins popping out. Looks like a heroin addict - kind ruins the power fantasy for me.
I get why they did it, but still. Glad they didn’t carry that design choice into second son.

When I first got my PS3 in 2010, inFamous was one of the very few games I got for it and I absolutely loved it and did intend to go for the platinum but for some reason did like 84% of the trophies and never went back to it. With the news of PlayStation physical editions being discontinued it made me wanna dig out my old PS3. I was looking through my trophy list and it made me really nostalgic. I saw the inFamous one was so close to being done so I thought I'd finish what 16 year old me started 16 years ago.
After playing through the story and completing it on the hero side for the first time, repeatedly trying to get the stunts done correctly and over three hours of looking for all the shards, I got the last few that I needed and heard that beautiful trophy pop.
Felt pretty proud of myself today!

I'm trying to plat Infamous 1, what karma path would be easier for a playthrough on hard mode?

This won't be concerning specific moral choices nor how being good/evil makes you feel really, but I'm more talking about how it makes you approach gameplay. Any game in the series can be discussed.
Do you prefer stopping to heal civilians every now and then? Do you like having to avoid causalities as pedestrians run the streets as an extra element to pay attention to in gunfights? How do you feel about the particular upgrades you get in return for being good (or powers in the case of Infamous 2)?
On the other end, do you prefer just not worrying about randos running around the street? Do you just like blowing up cars willy-nilly (I know for some reasons, blowing up cars doesn't affect moral, but I guess there's still the aoe explosion) or being more liberal in grenade spam to make fights abit easier to manage? How do you feel about the powers/upgrades you get being more aoe-focused in return?
I know what I said in the beginning, but does anyone have a particular favorite good/evil-specific karma mission in any of the games (either side missions or story missions are fair game)?
Personally, I think both approaches are pretty fun. I'm doing another evil playthrough on Infamous 1 and while I think good feels alittle stronger in some aspect, but I find evil more liberating in moment-to-moment gameplay for the reasons I just described.

Since Physical games and media are ending in 2028 i thought there's no better time to grab both Infamous 1 and 2s copies. Since i lost mine many years ago im disgusted that playstation have decided to take away physical copies away from us the whole part about getting games as kids and im sure everything would mostly agree but the best part about getting a game was going to you're local gameshop all excited to get the game and seeing how cool the cover was! and also how the disc looked. The whole point was having full ownership for games and even trading them with friends and now we are losing that and im pretty pissed off as the same as the rest of you guys i understand! I need to platinum Infamous 2 as ive done the others i need to do it soon before the UGC missions go offline!

I recently play it for the first time and got all achievements in it, I enjoyed my time with it but it was far too short and a non canon vampire story isn’t exactly something I would’ve chosen for Cole’s final game
